The AAF was only started by the NFL to cut the XFL off at the knees.

If the XFL fails, don't expect the AAF to continue.

This isn't the NFL "seeing the light" and deciding to create a minor league.

There is always a conspiracy theorist hiding in the shadows.

I know. I was being facetious. Funny how they can broadcast a game without them while the NFL has 70 of them.

I hope this puts pressure on the NFL to pick up the pace. They don't need to stop the game so often to make money.

These teams had a month of camp and played one preseason game.

The play will improve week to week.

Being serious, I could name a bunch of guys off of each of these teams' rosters that I am familiar with but it wouldn't mean a lot.

There is live competition for playing time and from what I see, just because I recognize the player name, it does not mean they are on the field.

We will just have to see how this shakes out and then we can see who the talents in this league really are.

San Antonio has a WR, who apparently was on the Cowboys roster at some time..Mekale McKay, 6'6" only 25. Has stood out to me.

NFL makes too much money with advertising so I don't see it changing.

The XFL is a year behind and I am only guessing, not nearly as well funded.

Don't hate on the AAF for getting a product up and ready before the 'rasslin guy.
