Everyone is saying he isn't getting past the Raiders. Keep an eye on the Jags at 5. One thing for sure: he has zero chance of getting out of 10.

One NFL GM Believes Ashton Jeanty Is Being 'Slept on' Ahead of 2025 NFL Draft

The Boise State star has the potential to be really, really special.

NFL Draft 2025: Three first-round trades Cowboys could pull off to increase draft pick stockpile

Dallas enters the 2025 draft with 10 picks, none in Round 4

I do. I think he's being disrespected. He's going to come into the league and light it on fire. He will have a chip on his shoulder. He feels he's the best player in the draft. He just might be.

He was never getting out of the top 10 from the start, many thought since the position was devalued he would fall. However, these type of backs never fall out of the top 10 and are impact players from day 1

To an extent it is true. No one expects him to drop out of the top ten so the speculation about where he goes has been minimal. So not a lot of talk.

consensus top 5 picks are like that most years.

I'd say it's about 90% he is gone in the top ten. But as I have stated before, everyone has their original pick. Everyone in the top ten has numerous needs. And with an extremely deep running back class, it is not out of the question that they fill a different need that they might not be able to fill later. If I'm NE, JAK, LV, or CHI, I wouldn't be passing him up. But teams don't always make the right choice. And the fact that Jeanty put out that statement, leads me to think that he may be hearing that he is slipping.

Dallas isn’t in a position to take a RB as high as 12 right now, regardless of what they think of themselves and what they’ve done to this roster over the last 2-3 years.

He’s the only player that even excites me in the entire class. Way to go Mike trying to win games with Rush……

He’s the biggest difference maker in the entire draft and would change the entire dynamic of the offense overnight. More so than any WR, DT, or any other position. Yes, yes they are in a position to take him at 12.

No player that will be drafted in the top 10 is being slept on.

The great Emmitt Smith being taken at 17, now that is being slept on.
Absolutely. Good thing the Jets took Blair Thomas off the board for us at pick #2 LOL.

No one is being slept on. Overhyped maybe. By the way they were talking about Robinson a few years ago I expect him to post 2500 yards. He didn't even crack 1000. Did better last year.

It would make the Bears a team to reckon with.
You would think, right? But why are they so inept no matter who they have on their team. Their main problem last year was bad OL play. Unless they get that fixed, drafting a RB isn't helping. I think that might be our problem too.

I really think any thought of Jeanty slipping out of the top 10 is media driven based on the perception that backs are devalued.

Every year, when there has been a back considered a top-10 value, he's gone in the top 10. The most recent example is Bijan Robinson, who went eighth. There was talk before the draft of him dropping all the way to us at 26. The second-best back, Jahmyr Gibbs, didn't even make it close to the far.

It wouldn't surprise if not only Jeanty goes top 10, but Hampton goes top 20.

Not if that OL doesn’t make significant progress, which may or may not be the case.

He is a luxury pick/final piece type. Can’t be doing that when there are so many questions elsewhere.

Yeah but they brought in new guys at Oline. They SHOULD be improved there. Jeanty won't need much.
