Yeah they have to. They had a NY Giants type OL last year. The type Barkley couldn't run behind. They're also in pretty good position to draft Tyler Warren if not Jeanty. It all hinges on their improved OL.

Unless the guy is Ladanian Tomlinson or Adrian Peterson or Ricky Williams, etc he isn't worth a top 5 pick. Is he? I mean to me no way he measures up to that ability, but somehow in today's current NFL which has faster defenses he is, I guess.

He was never getting out of the top 10 from the start, many thought since the position was devalued he would fall. However, these type of backs never fall out of the top 10 and are impact players from day 1

I think he was fighting more for his next job than his extension here.
I have a feeling, and this is just IMO, that he had enough here and would only stay on his terms if at all.

Probably not even comfortable to sleep on him. He doesn't look cushiony.

No player that will be drafted in the top 10 is being slept on.

The great Emmitt Smith being taken at 17, now that is being slept on.

Brady being drafted 199 but no one expected him to be that great as his scouting report was terrible. Another one was the great Jerry Rice. Played at a small college and they said he didn’t have the speed. Cowboys were all over him though and were going to pick him until the Niners traded up from 30 (after just winning the SB) and picked just before us. The only reason he was on the Niners radar was because Bill Walsh saw a sports clip on him in his hotel room the night before they were playing the Saints. And as they say the rest is history.

Jeanty,Hampton,Henderson,Johnson and Judkins will all be gone before our 3rd round pick.

Dallas isn’t in a position to take a RB as high as 12 right now, regardless of what they think of themselves and what they’ve done to this roster over the last 2-3 years.

The worst thing the Cowboys could do is to allow Washington and the Giants to draft a stud running back before pick 44 and leave the Cowboys without one.

I do. I think he's being disrespected. He's going to come into the league and light it on fire. He will have a chip on his shoulder. He feels he's the best player in the draft. He just might be.

As a Cowboy fan......knowing it's history....I don't see how this team can't consider a trade up to go get this guy.

We traded up for Dorsett......He got us to 2 Super Bowls....plus 3 more NFC championships.

Emmitt got us 3 Rings......We aren't winning 3 titles without him.

If this front office doesn't do what it takes to go get a generational talent like this.....then this tells me everything I need to know about the Jones clan. They don't care about winning. They don't care about the history....or the legacy.
