Okay, I know he is on the field with the first team defense, but I don't see him much. As the WILB isn't he supposed to be the one who penetrates and makes tackles? That is how BP described the two ILBs when they first started the 3-4 last year. Bradie James is the SILB and he is making a lot more tackles. Hate to see a guy who was paid that much money as a FA to just be average. I know he is still learning the position, but I personally expected more than I have seen.

If he falters, he'll have to fight back Carpenter and Burnett in order to keep his job. This just in: Dallas has good linebackers.

Well I actually thought he played pretty well the other night. He got in on a couple plays.

Honestly though when your Defense only get about 17 plays, and the D-Line is stuffing everyone, how much do you expect him to show up?

The safeties have been bored as all get out, and really have only had to make a tackle or two.

Akin is doing just fine.

Also remeber we are really vanilla right now.

yah, considering our first team defense has played less than 18 snaps in each of the last two games, we can't expect to see him getting five tackles a game yet... especially if we are planning on scaring incompletions out of QB's by our defense's play... no worries yet man...

Pat Watkins must be dying out there.. he must be desperate to prove he can take over from K Davis, but he can't get a play to come his way because the rest of the D is killing everyone!! :laugh2:

yea i kind of feel sorry for Watkins, this kid has skills but basically there is no point in being out there cause the rest of the D is just destroying the other team, its pretty sad. lol
