I think he is. Alot hype him up as if he's an elite quarterback when in reality he's an average quarterback. Yeah he has two superbowls, but the Steelers didn't win because of him they won in spite of him. You can put any average quarterback on the Steelers and they win two championships. Fact of the matter is he has been absolutely terrible in 2 of the 3 superbowls he played in and before the game winning drive in Super Bowl 43 he was being outplayed badly by Kurt Warner. Big Ben is nothing more than a bus driver quarterback, one of the most overrated players in the game today

He is pretty good, but I do agree that he is rated higher than he should be because of the rings.

The Steelers were 3-1 without him at the beginning of the year.

He is good, but not as good as some make him out to be.

He is good, but his defense and his running game are what keep him from being burned at the stake like Romo gets in the media.

Ben Roethlisberger
92.5 career passer rating(99 games)
84.5 playoff passer rating(13 games)
81.8 AFC Championship passer rating(4 games)
69.9 Superbowl passer rating(3 games)

Troy Aikman
81.6 career passer rating(165 games)
88.3 playoff passer rating(16 games)
100.3 NFC Championship passer rating(4 games)
111.9 Superbowl passer rating(3 games)

I tend to agree with everything here.

A lot of hype. Big Ben had one good drive vs. Arizona. The defense carried the rest

He's good. I won't deny it. He's definitely more than a bus driver because he's been put into a position to win games and has responded by doing so.

He's as scummy as they come but he's also a good QB.

I would put him as above average, but don't be looking for his name in the HOF.

He is not an impact QB. And in my eyes there are very few of those around. He is not the guy that puts fear in your eyes when he steps on the field. But to say he is just average, I don't agree with. And mostly because of his size and mobility -- not his throwing ability.
