Doubtful Arkin will be ready that quickly and no one else on the roster is any good so do we stick with Bigg for one more reason or replace him in FA?

I think Holland is. Bigg is a lot of money.

We can get by with Holland. Arkin and Nagy will require at least of year of seasoning ... at most we can hope for from them is spot duty.

Free - Kosier - Gurode - Holland - Smith

is an upgrade over what we fielded in 2010.

He will start and likely be stumbling around all season. I don't see the 4th rounder replacing him anytime soon. Hope I am wrong and there is some competition for starting spots during training camp. Jerry is still around so I doubt it.

As of right now I think Bigg stays another year with new meat at RT and LG. I think alot of what will eventually happen hinges upon the CBA negotiations.

We need to resign both Kosier and Free, hopefully they can do it.

I've always liked Kosier, but I'm thinking maybe there's a younger OG available via FA.

I think its time for us to move on.

He was awesome when he first got here but he plays with no desire and his awareness is just terrible.

Bigg will start and be 10 times better then he was last year because he will be in excellent football shape and JG will see to it. Our entire team was out of shape last year due to WP soft BS training camp, that won't happen this year. Bigg and the entire team will be in FOOTBALL SHAPE this year. GUARANTEED!!!!

Arkin is probably my favorite player from this draft but seriously, he's only 300 lbs. There is no way I see him starting at RG any time soon.

Yea well obviously it was. JG put them in pads as soon as he took over. Again, the team was not in top physical football shape last year and that starts in TC. That won't be a issue this year..

it all depends on the new CBA to who will be a FA. Right now I think we have to keep Davis. Who else do we have. Holland isn't a starter. We need to get a day one starting OG in this draft and we didn't.

Right now we have no clue to who will be available in FA due to the lockout. If the NFL goes back to using the 2010 rules Blalock is a RFA but if we get a new CBA and its the 2009 rules then Blalock is a UFA. I would like to get Blalock and then cut Davis free.

This really comes down how Bigg prepares for next season. If he doesn't step up, Holland could start. Unfortunately we might have to keep Davis because he would be better than whoever wins the #3 OG spot.

This is a fluid situation that will be very interesting to watch in preseason. The twist in this whole story is the fact the Cowboys want cut the player payroll and Davis is set to make some big bucks.

I see the cowboys cutting Biggs and signing a FA to replace him. His contract is not guaranteed and it's expensive, so cutting him and replacing him with Mankins (depending on FA rules) or Nicks would be a huge upgrade at a small cost. As the BTB article revealed, Biggs is the exact wrong type of OL for Garrett. No reason to wait another year when there are several FA options out there. I am hopeful a 2 year deal gets it done with Kosier (well, I'm really hopeful they move on and sign two guards that are under 30, but that is probably too costly).

I legitimately think the Cowboys sign at least 1 new FA on the o-line and 1-2 on defense. Huff and Nick/Mankins would round out this team nicely.

Connected to this, MB3 and Biggs are gone. TNew re-negotiates his contract. RW11 is here to stay, and anyone who says otherwise doesn't know what they are talking about.
