Is Bob Hayes still Eligable for HOF?

I was wondering if he was because He was a Senior Selection. I don't know if they have only 1 year. Maybe Goose, whose done a great job presenting Cowboy players the last 2 years could work on Hayes and Cliff Harris next.

all i know is he got in the final 6 one year and then never got in the top 15 after that so im guessing hes not eligible, but if he isn't then i dont understand how those 2 guys from the 20s got in w/ dan marino and steve young

I believe that after 25 years, a player has to go through the Seniors Committee.

In other words, he's never going to make it.

I used to honor and respect the Pro Football hall of Fame, but the antics of some of the girly boys on the selection committee has turned it into the hall of shame and it has no credibility with me and I will not go there, despite a lifelong desire to do so, nor will I watch any event in which they are a participant until such time as they induct this most deserving player who changed the game totally, Bob Hayes.
