Losses against division rivals are of course crucial and we will find that out in due course but the Buccs game is crucial because if we end up not winning the division then w ild card help could be needed in cases of tie-breaking thats why it is imperative that we beat the Buccs and tie them now on 5-3.

Still reckon we can go 11-5 now and that should be enough to see us in

We lose to the Bucs, that probably kills any realistic chance of the playoffs. That is because the following week we play the G-men on the road. If we cant beat the freaking Rams on the road, do you think we are going to beat the defending champs on the road??? Me neither.

Thus, our record would be 4-5 going into the bye week and it usually takes "10 wins to get in" as they say. So, we could only lose 1 game over the remaining 7 and make the playoffs........not going to happen.

So yes, for any realistic chance at the playoffs, we have to beat the Bucs on Sunday.

I frankly dont think we have a chance in hell of doing it, so I have come to peace with the idea of us not making the playoffs this year.:(

Every game is must win from week one. This is part of the problem, our coaches and players don't think so.

They are all must win games at this point.

Maybe a loss to the Steelers or Ravens would be ok.

But the rest of the games are NFC games.

Depends on what the top of the NFC and the rest of the NFC East does. If a lot of teams lose, then it adds delays to these must-wins.

yesterday was a must win, and they didnt even compete vs a bad team

it's gonna get real ugly the next two weeks.

Jones apparently doesnt want to fire Wade, but when he looks around Sunday and see's 1000's of empty seats and watches his team get booed off the field, hopefully light will dawn on marble head.

Given that they travel to NY and then to DC afterwards, yes, they most certainly have to win at home against the Bucs.

some people may say im crazy but i really dont for see us losing more than 2 games for the rest of the way maybe the ravens and the last game against the eagles @ philly.

i think that this team will rally and play similar to the colts superbowl team where they could strike early and often and didnt have the best defense but had a good pass rush.

once we're ahead we force teams into throwing for the rest of the game we'll be in better shape. more sacks and newman and the gang will be back.

the reason why i beleive that we can get this turned around is because with romo and felix kosier returning and a chip on our shoulder we will be dominating teams.

better days are ahead guys just be patient i'd rather the losses and injuries now, then another late season colapse going into the playoffs.

with us having to play strong and winning to make the playoffs i see us dominating down the stretch with royw11 learning the system better and romo getting better we're coming back with a vengence

they where supposed to rally this week and got blown out by the Rams

The last 3 losses were must win games.

Washington was a division game.

Arizona and St Louis are teams a Superbowl Caliber team should beat.

Agreed. being losing against the NFC like this isn't good we should need to turn it around if we want to make the playoffs.

Yes, but it wont happen. Tampa is going to lay the wood to us.

We can not stop Garcia & his precision short passing game. Graham is going to run wild.

Their D is going to bully our O-line & get our QB killed whomever it might be this week.

:starspin

I'm not going to measure this team until we get healthy down the stretch and they have no excuses left.

Because if there is one thing I've learned about this bunch of guys, they will find an excuse.

LOL sorry no offense but the last 2 games were must wins. And they were both crucial.

some just don't get the seriousness of the situation this team is in.

How do you imagine going 11-5 with this team ? Romo will be out probably for 2 more weeks just because of what happened to R.Williams. That mean after the Rams game that we going to lose those 2 games. After that there are still games that even with romo we are going to lose.

Right now 11-5 is just wishfull thinking. We are lucky to go 8-8.

This is about as close to being a must win as you can get. Could we recover if we lost mathematically yes but I don't think the mindset of this team can't afford a loss this Sunday

Heading into the bye week on a 3 game losing streak would kill this teams mindset.

Tampa L
@NY L
Bye
@Wash L
SF W
Sea W
@Pitt L
NY W
Balt W
@Philli L

8-8

Prepared for the worst.

We have Tampa and the Giants before we hit the bye week but regardless Dallas facing a playoff contender in Tampa at Home would be a good start in getting back on track for this team.
