God what if we could get Calvin Johnson out of retirement. Detroit doesn't have leverage but it would still take a fair amount of compensation I think. Similar to how Arizona had to pay up for Carson palmer even tho he was "retired"

I don't think it's crazy. Plus what's the big deal about taking a year off . Footballs hard and grueling. It makes some sense for these dudes to take a "gap year" in their prime and reassess if they think it's all worth it. **** romo can take some time and work on his health and his back and posture and stuff and do yoga and see if he Can play another year with a contender
