ARLINGTON, Texas -- Cowboys running back Tashard Choice looked woozy as he came off the field with 2:15 left to go in the game and the Cowboys milking a 34-14 lead. Choice ran the ball and got tackled, but was slow to get up. Choice sustained a concussion last week against the Eagles and did not practice until Thursday.
After the game we'll know more about his status. It could be important heading into next week's divisional matchup at Minnesota. Marion Barber played in just the first two series of the game, rushing three times, before being taken out of the game. Barber entered with a bruised left knee, but early word from the Cowboys PR staff was that Barber did not injure the knee further.
UPDATE: After the game, Choice said he is fine. He said he just took a hard hit, but nothing more.
"I just got hit man. It wasn’t like last week where I got a helmet to the head," said Choice, who finished with 14 carries for 42 yards, including a 1-yard touchdown to open the scoring. "I was sitting there, I got hit, I said, man, I was mad."
