Is Dak a clutch QB?

Nope. Just talk to other fans...they don't respect Dak as that type of QB. Most teams get nervous if a Rodgers, Brady, Mahomes get the ball back with 30 seconds left to win the game. Dak had almost 3 minutes and all 3 timeouts at the end of the 4th quarter and did nothing. Then he had a second chance in OT and did nothing. You can't go 0/2 there.

This is becoming a trend with him. Remember in the SF playoff game? Down 6 with all his timeouts and he couldnt lead us to a TD.

Yup also last year on Thanksgiving vs. the Raiders. They kicked a FG to tie and the Cowboys got the offense back with almost 2:00 left and could only get a FG instead of marching it down and punching it in.

Dak is not clutch and lacks any winning intangibles at this point in his career. He had it in 2016 but I guess that was just a fluke

This is where I miss Romo. When Romo got the ball in a dire situation, he could usually drive the field. Sometimes he would throw a pick, LOL, but he at least progressed down the field.
Romo was really good in the final two minutes of games as he matured as a player. Romo tried to do too much early in his career and it resulted in some dumb turnovers and he was tagged as a choker. When he finally figured things out, he was one of better QBs in the league. Dallas fans don’t give him credit for making the big improvements in his game. He made the improvements that Dak needs to make, but is not able to.

Like coach said in BB practice, every shot looks good until it misses the basket.

Earlier in his career Dak was clutch but not so much anymore. He’s not the same player he was..

Simple Question.

When GB tied it up 28 a piece, did you feel comfortable knowing Dak would march us down the field for a score?

What about in overtime when we won the toss? Did you believe we would go down the field and score the GW TD?

No Dak is a late rd pick for a reason
My issue was the whole team was flat, no gang tackling, penalties everywhere
Glad mm was all warm and fuzzy though.

A 4th round pick is a mid-round pick, not a late round pick. Did Dak have a bad game? Yes.
It was extremely obvious that MM was painfully upset at the outcome, just like you were.
The woeful expression on his face at game's end was more than obvious. Deal with it.

Seven years in, his signature win is a wild card win over Seattle like 4 years ago. He hasnt lead them anywhere or to anything in years.

Wasn’t even his signature win, as it was really Zeke who completely wore down that front. The game winning drive wasn’t even him in reality. Bailed out by a questionable PI by Seattle against Beasley on a third form and Zeke was dominant and on the QB draw, the whole OL blew open the Seattle front and I believe it was Collins who was the lead For him and the first contact with Collins and the safety was like 10 yards downfield. It was a good play-call made by Linehan that completely caught them off guard too.

Dak was basically a bus driver that whole game.

And Dak was NEVER clutch.

If anybody was clutch that first year, it was Zeke who was ‘clutch’. This whole facade was built on that first season, when Dallas kept it close and Zeke and the OL wore down fronts and all Dak had to do was find Beasley on those out routes.

In 2019 Dak had ZERO wins when the team was down at half—time. Wasn’t clutch in 2017, 2018, 2019 onwards.

They’ve been trying to tailor an offense to Dak, just to make it work, while this team was just trying to wing it with Romo while Jerry was more vested and trying hard to make Garrett a good OC and HC when he was never good, just like they are trying to make Dak a good QB when he never was.

Romo had to learn on his own basically.

Dak was a late round pick, Jerry took him in the 4th.
MM needs to do his damn job.
Deal with that

Again, the 4th round isn't a "late round" pick, it's a mid-round pick -- deal with being wrong, if you can!

Worry not, Mike McCarthy will be replaced next year with Dan Quinn. Feel any better now? Relax . . .

Even then, Jerry and Stephen Jones will still be our gallant leaders in the front office. it's inevitable.

It's 4th and 4. Game on the line!
You drop back and see nothing, nothing, nothing...
Nothing but 10+ yards of green grass in front of you but...
You stand there, like an idiot... smh

Clutch? Nope.
Just doesn’t have the mental make up to be clutch.
