I actually prefer talking more about the team, these Dak threads are nauseating.
Daks a top 10 QB. Nothing more, nothing less. He is Not elite. Mahomes is better and we would all want Mahomes.

Cowboys can win a championship with Dak but its hard to beat Mahomes with a better GM and a better HC. So you better have one hell of a defense to start. And maybe you get lucky and someone else knocks them out, injuries, or you get a few cracks at it.

The next Mahomes isnt coming around any time soon.

If you knew me back in the day posting then as "Golden", then you would have been watching me get shredded everyday saying that Romo was a much better golfer and more dedicated to that game than he was playing QB for the Dallas Cowboys.
I got blasted for those posts, so dont be so quick to stereotype an association.
Fair enough.

Look at Dak's stats the last game of every season. That answers the clutch or crotch question.

Well if we go by this method, I guess 99% of the NFL quarterbacks aren't clutch. It only one quarterback in the NFL who finishes the season with a win every year.

Hmmmm...

Emmitt has 3 of those too. So does the punter.

Aikman was a product of the team around him. Dak could've won with that team
A lot of fans say just about any QB could have won with those teams but I disagree. Most QBs would’ve completely lost their confidence with the beatings he took his first two seasons. Even as bad as those teams were, he showed plenty of flashes. Although his passing numbers weren’t big he made plays when it really counted in the big games. Not just any QB could’ve made that play to Harper against San Francisco in the 92 NFC title game. Aikman followed that game up with 4 TD passes in the Super Bowl resulting in an MVP performance. A lot of fans say Emmitt Smith was a product of his OL. I believe the Dak of a couple of years ago could have won a Super Bowl with the great teams Aikman had, but not so sure the current Dak could. He’s regressed from what he was. He’s not making plays in critical moments. He struggled with INTs last season. He’s clearly lost some confidence. Hopefully he’ll get back on track this season.

Hum, never mentioned titles. *rereads posts and never sees me mentioning titles* shrugs. okay, whatever.

Still hating dak. :)
Imagine the amount of butt hurt these guys have over a loser like Dak Prescott, guy has never won anything and somehow we should keep him or else we might not win anything with someone else.
