Is Dak having problems finding Amari?

I know how much has been said about Amari Cooper saying he can't do much when he's not getting the ball. With the money they are paying him, that is a pretty penny not to use someone..... My question is, Is Dak finding all his options when he's passing? Is Amari that covered up to where Dak can't find him? Is Dak truly using all his options?

well, Dak was 7th in passing yards and he missed a game with over 4400 yards. so he is finding somebody....CD had a 1000+ yards. Schultz had about 800 yards (close to cooper). Wilson as the 3rd or 4th WR had 600. Part time gallup in 88.5 games if that had 400. so why would Dak have problems finding Cooper? he found everybody else....

perhaps its not all one sided. half a dozen of one, 6 of the other....cooper also has had some problems getting open consistently.

That’s just it - we’ve shown we can move the ball. The problem sometimes comes down to bad OL play and untimely penalties like holding (also due to the OL) that kill drives. Sometimes it’s just a bad pass or a dropped pass. But we have the CAPABILITY of moving the ball very well.

I’m beginning to lean toward it being an Amari issue beating his guys. It’s been mentioned by Jerry who we all know is outspoken, but there might be some truth to it. Amari has always had that reputation of disappearing, that didn’t start this year.

Dak has put up pretty good stats even though he missed a game. Over 4000 yards and 37 touchdowns kind of shows that maybe Jerry is correct with this one.

Amari speaking about not getting targets might be back up plan in the event he gets released this off-season. He and his agent can bring that to the negotiation table. I know that’s a reach, but who knows.

Maybe it’s Amari? We usually jump to think it’s on Dak, but maybe his ankle injury he suffered early this year is effecting his route running?

untimely penalties have killed us (is there ever a timely penalty?)..... but against AZ, 3 times we convert and penalties bring us back...in a closely contested game, those kind of plays kill you and your momentum. we can't shoot ourselves in the foot....

We have a lot of good receivers. Dalton Schultz had a terrific season and Cedric Wilson makes plays when he’s in the lineup. There’s not enough balls to go around. Amari gets a lot of attention. His production started slowing down when our offense began to sputter. Dak has missed him on some throws.

I just want Dak to find the open man, if that is Cooper great, if defense is using safety over the top and that allows Wilson a free over the middle then I expect Dak to get the ball to Wilson. Same with Lamb, if defense is doing things to try to take Lamb out of the play then do not force it to him, go to the open man or the best man on man matchup. When you have a top WR core the object is not trying to feed 1 but to use the talent of the WR core and get the ball to the open man. I have faith in all 3 WR to make big plays, this is an asset not hindrance

I have it on good authority that the Cowboys are working in a color chart for Dak because he seems to have difficulty with numbers

Well we tend to get tons of holding calls on 3rd down or after a big play (that’s what I mean by untimely).

It's my opinion dak needs quicker on his release....and don't be afraid to throw before the break.
I think he looks off the first read too fast.

Make a good throw to where he is GOING to be and trust him.

you are wrong. he doesn't even know his colors.... they are working on two basic shapes. circle and square so its easier to tell them apart
