There is no doubt we overpaid for Dak and it will be a Achilles Heel for this team for at least the next 2 seasons. When you have much much better QBs signing new contracts for less then 60 million per year, you just have to wonder what the Jones boys were thinking.

They were thinking that they didn't want to eat $40M of dead money- the result of multiple restructures of his previous deal.

Anybody who has watched SleepNumber play in the postseason KNOWS he could not win 4 straight playoff games against playoff defenses and coaches.
Regardless of his own coaching staff, 5th or 6th different playcaller now or dominant defensive support.
The playoff phobia is real.
And it's terminal.
