Is Dallas still a top destination?

Players don’t worry about “destinations” anymore.

Most players only live there during the season.

Players go to where the most money is being offered to them. Alaska can be appealing for a certain amount of money
post of the day!!!!!!!!!!!!!! lol lol

Its a good question because there are several legit answers

1. If the money is even and you want a cushy gig but no championship or discipline, this is a great destination

2. If the money is even but you want to go where football is the main thing, you avoid this place like the plague

3. If your a rookie like Shadeur and you want to get a massive 2nd contract, and branding, regardless of results you want to come here . Not to mention a career waiting for you in the boof
They need to call the fire department on this post!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Of course it is. There is so much to do. We always have more things on our list than there is time. We scratched the Mavs because of that stupid trade. We are overdue to go back for a race, especially a Indy car race. This year we want to finally to go Troy's place. There is a lot of great restaurants too. Considering we visit Dallas at least once a year, yes I would consider it a top destination.
meet me there????

Clearly it isn't! Players seemed to love to be mentioned for the Cowboys, now you see how the Cowboys go about spending, and what smart minded agent would tell their players to sign with Dallas??

What does Dallas have to offer these days to get players back to wanting to be here? There's nothing I see at this moment that says HEY I'm a big free agent I want to be here for several years, I know they'll pay what the market dictates, only for this not to happen and said players go the other way!!

It's like beating a dead horse, maybe one day the Jones family will get their mojo back!! Please give your thoughts
Perhaps it's not , but their agents will remind their clients that there is NO STATE INCOME TAX IN TEXAS. This is a huge incentive.

It's not? And you're still here? Figures....

Alaska currently has the highest man to woman ration in the entire united States and one can only imagine what the available ones must look like

Hard pass.....or a soft one in this case
Take a pill and keep warm

heck yeah, many players like to hope to go to dallas where they don't have to worry about things like winning, just picking up a check is a win when you get old.
Just like fans that can't stay away and keep coming back. Say hi to puppy.

Yeah, for low-end FAs! They lov coming here because no one else was going to sign them.

Maybe Jerry will let you come over and sniff his underwear and his socks.
Wow.....feeling a bit surly. What happened to that sense of humor you used to have? I bet you and puppy are sitting around and giggling right now. Tell puppy to stop being a baby and come back...it'll do him good to vent, once in a while. Now, go brush your teeth, I think you may have accidentally eaten something when you were sniffing Lil pup's under-roos.

Hell naw

If the mods would kindly look into putting Coog Bayless on a 30 day timeout, that would be bantastic!!

If a player is from here or has family here, then Dallas is an incredible city to live.

No current NFL player was alive when Clinton was president and we won our last championship, courtesy of Jimmy Johnson's roster building and culture. Therefore, any player with a functioning brain knows the following things about coming to Dallas in the draft or via free agency.
  1. You will need a very dark face shield for home games
  2. You will have strangers looking through the glass at you while you work out at the Star
  3. If Jerry likes you, you will be overpaid
  4. You will be extremely high profile since you will be on a lot of nationally televised games
  5. As long as you're cool with Jerry, you will never answer to or be accountable to the head coach or any other coach on the staff
  6. You will never play in an NFC championship game or win a ring in Dallas
  7. If you start a family after you sign here, you will likely stay here long term because it's a great place to live.

I should clarify that Texas in general is a great destination especially in terms of no state tax, so no disrespect intended.......however, this particular franchise is quite a different story.
