It's still a little bit after Rob Ryan was hired. Ryan was just announced as D-Coordinator 2 days ago.

Campo has worked for the Cowboys the majority of the last 20 years, so while i agree he needs to lose his job, he deserves to have it done with a little respect. They may well make the token gesture of letting him interview with Ryan, but I think he will be gone.

Its so typical ......Draft your pet cat....credit goes to someone else......keep a Coach you dont like.....HC must be a puppet and its a Jerry's move.

Its really easy to figure things out. Jerry is the owner and GM....every move made since he bought the team.......is a Jerry move.....good and bad.....sure he may have listen to better people like Jimmy Genius....or Big Bill....etc....but the final decision.....always.....and will always be till Jerry stops running the team....will be a Jerry decision.

I think Jerry will allow Ryan and Garrett to build the staff they want, but i will admit if there is one coaching spot Jerry would be most likely to influence it would be with Campo. I don't think that will be the case, but if Jerry intervenes at all, that would be the one place he would.

What if Ryan determines he wants to retain Campo as DBs coach? He's been coaching that position a long long time and he's been pretty good at it. One bad season by the D in 2010, that goes well beyond the secondary, and now Caqmpo all of a sudden sucks? Yeah, okay, that's why he's gotta go now.

A lot of fans would be ticked, but it wouldn't be a big problm for me. I tend to favor making a change simply because I think a fresh start all the way around makes sense with our defense, but I don't think keeping Campo would be horrible.

Of course, if we keep Campo nobody will believe it was Ryan's choice.

Teams are not allowed to release any players until the new league year starts because of the CBA.

Thats why Vince Young is still a Titan right now, for example.
