I had only heard of him before watching him in tonight's bowl game. Whoa. Best pure running back I've seen in a long time. 31 carries for 243 yards and 3 TDs on the ground tonight. Add that to...

1726 yards and 15 TDs as a senior (plus 80 and a TD in the air).
1948 yards and 22 TDs as a junior (plus 210 and a TD in the air).
1430 yards and 10 TDs as a soph. (plus 350 and 3 TDs in the air).
648 yards and 5 TDs as a freshman.

Career average of 6.2 ypc.
Breaks Dorsett's and Archie Griffin's career record for most 100 yard games in NCAA history.
Holds NCAA record for most all-purpose yards in history (7,430)

For some reason he's overlooked. Maybe not that big and not that fast, but we've heard that before. I know we have Julius and Marion, but if De'Angelo Williams is there when we pick in the first, can we pass on him? Can we pass on a possible great one?

hes excellent, but hes not good enough for us to draft him when we have 2 good running backs and 2 serviceable backups for em.....but he is superb...

Yup, I think we're set at RB. Hopefully for the rest of the decade!!!

the cowboys need to focus on the o-line and d-backs. a capable starter a free saftey and a decent safety to back up roy

overlooked mostly because Bush is even better. but Deangelo will not fall to us. the jets or another team may end up taking him.

He's a great back and could have been up there with cadillac if he had come out early, but RB isn't our main concern this year, and realistically, it maybe our least concern on the whole team.

If he is the best player on the board when our pick comes, then we should take him, unless there is a trade to be made for defense, OL, or even a high pick the following draft in 08. If not then we take him. But I would prefer to take Darius Walker in the 08 draft.

I'd wet my pants if we drafted him not only is he a great player but a great person. He gave up millions in the nfl to return to Memphis for his senior year to finish what he helped start. We had not been to a bowl game in 31 yrs until his sophmore year and since then we have been to 3 straight. He helped change us from a doormat to a good program.
