This thread is about yesterday's practice. I think the OP is referring to the discussion about the second day will be key to see if he is sore or there was swelling.

Stephen said practice went well yesterday including Dez participating on 7-7 drills and if he has another good practice today it opens the door for him to start. So unless he has some swelling or pain he will be practicing today.

Romo can practice starting next week. Linehan says Step 1 is to focus on conditioning. Then, they'll worry about getting him reps.

His conditioning work has been very limited, so it makes obvious sense to focus on conditioning first. I'm pretty sure they'll handle him the right way. He'll have some rust when he first gets back, but he'll still be significantly better than what he'll be replacing (no knock on Cassell or Weeden, but they ain't Romo).
