It’s the type of move they should make if they want to be serious about competing this year, however the cowboys also seem to be more interested in acquiring players on cheaper deals. Readers $13m cap hit may destroy any interest from the cowboys to get this deal going.

What nose tackle is available in a trade? I am guessing you probably would have taken Nolen at 12 instead of Booker.

Go to camp with the players they have at DT. See what they have, but definitely keep an eye on the other 31 rosters for DTs who may be cut.

How about we stop guessing on what's coming next and just watch until something comes or it doesn't come I'd say no i'd be more shocked if it wasn't a corner it did say they had two substantial trade options around draft time they were pursuing and I imagine Pickens was 1 and I'm curious to who the other one was my guess was Jalen Ramsey and that fizzled out they were asking for too much but maybe it's a different corner..

Here's my opinion on this we brought in enough beef in the draft and brought back Justin Rogers more beef we still have Mozzy and we still have Joseph we have guys on this roster we need to allow let them have some training camp in preseason and maybe going into that 3rd preseason game the Cowboys will know or not know where the other holes are they might need to go out and get another guy...

That's my reasoning I'm sorry if my perspective is too straightforward but II just don't really care right now who they may or may not be pursuing until it happens there's always too much smoke with the Cowboys anyway everybody out there thinks every single person who may be open or up for a trade or possible free agent is always linked to the Cowboys and it gets old after a while reading all these stories and then almost never happens..

100% why do people not realize that we've addressed it in the draft we brought back Justin Rogers we also still have Mozzy we still have Joseph we have other dues we need to give them reps all training camp and the first couple preseason games the Cowboys will reevaluate during cutdowns on where they may or may not need to go to fill a hole before September.. But they want to see what these guys can do apparently the defensive tackle from UCLA toilet or whatever his name is was a top 100 evaluation that dropped into the two hundreds so he's not possibly as bad as people might want to put him and label him as a 7th round pick..

I prefer to let right now where the roster sits going to all these camps and let them start being evaluated it's right in the preseason if they need to make a trade or wait till cut downs and find another guy when they're cutting their own rosters down they'll go get somebody and if I had to guess it would be corner where they would address first they would bring in a guy like Gilmore or make a trade for a corner because that's where we're injured the most that's where all the big question marks are yes we have talented corners on this team but most of them are hurt we don't even know when they're coming back..

They are looking for that Ratliff type player. Big guy who takes on double team blocks doesn't excite Jerry.
