0-2 on FG's and if go back and watch his PAT's, they all look terrible. Just wondering if his hip is still giving him trouble.

Actually, I wondered that too. Not because of the field goal, but the PATs. Serious hooks, which makes me think the hip is not 100% because the hooking would seem to come from problems with torqueing.

I'm definitely no expert on kickers, but yes those hooking PATs concerned me.

Everytime I see it addressed about TC practices, they say he is kicking great.

He missed one FG (barely) on a bad field. He hit the upright from 49 yds and it appears it hadnt plenty of leg on it, so I dont think the injury he had is bothering him.

If it is though I'm glad we have Buehler to potentially fill in, because by all accounts he has kicked FG's extremely well in TC as well.

Sometimes it just happens with kickers. One day they are the best ever. The next they can't hit anything.





I'll never forget how good Len Elliot was then it seemed like overnight he was just terrible.








Anyone else like how Buehler does some kind of weird power step march before he kicks off? I thought that was cool.

I have no problem letting rookie kicker handle FG and Kick-offs until Folk gets straight. Speaking of not look 100% ....am I the only one who sees McBride walking with a limp. His punts look ok...he just walks like he is still recovering.

Perhaps he's not comfortable with McBriar as his holder yet?

Kicker has to completely trust his holder, and maybe they're just trying to fine-tune things tight now.

I like Folk and all, but you know we do have Buehler. If Folk misses another field goal there should be serious concern. Maybe save the roster spot and let superman take over. He has made all his field goals so far and can kick-off.

Anyone worried a little about Nick Folk? He's 0-2 so far this preseason. A 49, and a 36 yard attempt. There were even a few extra points that didn't exactly split the uprights either.

He only missed two kicks all of last year. I hope this trend reverses itself in the next two weeks.

Talk about pressure. They draft Zeus in the 6th, he looks great(and his kicks arent bad either) you miss 2 kicks w/ tough conditions and all of the sudden one more means the coaches start worrying.

Even if it continues I wouldnt dump him, hes proved himself already. Maybe just de-activate him for a little?
