Is Freeney going to break Romo in half?

Agreed. I usually just slip them an Abraham Lincoln apiece and they go on their merry way.

Free's pass blocking has been reported to be very good. It's his run blocking that is suspect.

And it's not like Free hasn't practiced against guys that have quickness off the edge.

He hasn't faced an end that runs a 4.3 forty....

If Romo gets hurt this preseason I'm personally gonna hunt down each and every one of you guys who started a thread about him getting injured in the preseason and *****-slap you.

Which, of course, will come in handy when Freeney decides to run in his shorts 40 yards in a straight line.

Fortunately for Free, he has gone against Ware, who is quick/athletic/fast in his own right and will have helped Free get an inkling of what is in store when he faces Freeney.

Yea i gues that feller Ware over there rushing off the end runs a 4.5 eh?

Freeney was never a 4.3 end.

Give me a break.

GAZING INTO THE CRYSTAL BALL: If New England has their way, Freeney is still there at the end of the first round, but after clocking 4.38 recently, the Pats may have to move up a bit to grab him, as Oakland is also showing strong interest.

I've seen his time reported anywhere from high 4.3's to 4.5

Here's one source that says 4.3

Give him a break.

_____________

nfl.com has him listed as running a 4.48 (at the Combine, I presume)

4.38 is not 4.3 thats a 4.4

If you want to get technical, a 4.38 is a 4.38; not a 4.4

He ran in the 4.3's according to that source. That was what I was trying to convey.

I was going to ask where Goodell was in the picture.

But then I realized why you couldn't include it.

Silly me.

When you say he ran a 4.3 that means he was running 4.3, 4.31, 4.32 not 4.38.

And when the combine has him at 4.48, i'm more likely to believe that he was running toward 4.4 not the 4.3's as the OP was saying.
