T-mac/Jenty are gone, are we really going to turn our card in for Golden??? I hope the phones get to ringing a bit, I think we can nab him a little later in the draft??? Please give your thoughts. Most seem to feel that he's the next option we could look at at WR if T-mac isn't there

Trade back.

I'd take him and be happy. Our offense just got explosive.

An argument could be made he profiles as a number two receiver. As such I am hesitant to say he is properly valued as the 12th best player in the draft. It would be one thing if the team was one player away. They aren't close. Add that he had his share of drops. Also our mediocre QB will be pressured to force the ball to the high paid WR on the roster. Probably not the best use of resources. If it were me I go best D Lineman available but I haven't been asked for my input.

Brugler has him as the 15th-best prospect, so you might not can trade far down if you want to nab him.

I see him more as a top 20-25 player so he is a reach at a12, but many media scouts have him much higher so I could be valuing a little too low, time will tell

You do realize scouts run out of stuff to talk about, then just start making thinks up for new material.

Do you not think we have enough resources in the DLine?????
With Parsons's upcoming deal .....$70M + 3 high draft picks ( Smith, Kneeland and Sam Williams )

It is talent level. Not draft picks. Definitely light at DT. What do we have after Osa and Mazi? And most people are not happy with Mazi. Deep draft, we should grab 2 DT's and 1 DE.

Undertand that, but I can ask the same question regarding other positions
*** What do we have after Lamb? Defenses take away Lamb, then what?
*** What do we have after Diggs and Bland ( Diggs out until after the start), Lewis left via FA
*** Who is the starting MLBer other than a low-level player signed as an FA

I mean, we have other positions nearly bare. Shoot with DT position being stacked, that's even more of a reason to wait and address it with later rounds. Especially considering most are asking for a top run defender or tech 1/NT who could be only a two-down player.

Personally ...........I wouldn't be upset with WR at 12, but the safest and cleanest pick 12 is Membou, Campbell ( OL ) or CB, Johnson.

Also, I think some fans are way too hung up on players' EXACT value. I'm not taking this player 12 but I will take him just 3-4 spots down. Bucs GM said the other day he doesn't expect there will be many teams looking to trade up this year coz a lack of top-heavy talent. After the first 5-6 players, you could put the next 25 in the same box and still get a very good player.

not sure if we talked about this (memory is bad) do you feel the same way about the OL we've used a lot of resources on the OL over the last few years for us to take another 1st round pick on OL
