Every time I hear anything about the new CBA it says something different not as to specifics but whether they are close to getting it done or not? And honestly if these players are using weed for pain that's far better than the painkillers they are prescribing them some of the stories I've heard former players say how many they took a day it's a wonder they're alive

Then again some of the tackling I've seen from our defense this year it's almost like they're already stoned

I know it's not the popular choice, but why are we hanging on to people that remain distractions? Even if the pot policy changes, do you think this guy isn't going to sit around all week smoking weed? He's going to continue to be a distraction...

He’s in NFL limbo...it’s really up to him,before league office can say anything either way is my understanding. They haven’t heard anymore than FO was the last report I remember long while ago ..kinda a no news thing. All these people saying "cut his spot" or "he's just cashing a check", he's on the suspended list so he's not costing a roster spot and where not paying him any base salary.

If he's receiving no base salary and he's not taking a roster spot then he's not really "still on the team" (where basically just owning the rights to him, that's it no base money and no current roster spot)

He's not active roster and he cannot receive a base salary so literally no point in cutting him (nothing really to cut, no base salary and no roster spot).

Cowboys are basically just holding the rights to him at no cost. No point in cutting someone that your not paying for, might as well watch and see what happens

He was just resigned before the season and it runs through next season

Only the NFL suspend players for pot. NHL, MLB, NBA don't do it.

We’ve had Gregory for 5 years. His biggest impact on the field has been to extend drives with boneheaded penalties. We need him back ASAP.

If a new CBA is agreed on this off season it could be Gregory's way back to the NFL. Marijuana probably won't be tested for in the new CBA

He got suspended by the NFL for weed again, need him back ASAP - Quinn is absolute trash against the run and screens because he was trying to rack up sacks to get a big contract... Completely messed our defense up all season.

They need him for depth alone in 2020. Outside of Woods(tendered) and DLAW, the rest of the top 8 DL are likely gone.

why would they possibly do that? He isnt being paid, at least not against the salary cap. I wouldnt be surprised if Jones is getting him money in some capacity outside of the actual tean. The Cowboys lose nothing by waiting for him to return. If he doesnt, oh well, they have lost nothing. If he returns, great, we get a very active pass rusher.

He's an addict, the time has come to move on from Gregory

I think MJ will be taken off the banned substances list soon. If so the kid has a chance. If not, then he’s done.
