Maybe a tad bit but I only say that cuz of his shotgun snaps..I think he holds his own very well and doesn't seem to miss alot of calls

One can argue with a mobile QB who's always running outside of the pocket, our whole O-line is overrated.

Woops!!

If thats the case than I think they deserve it because of the bashing they had to go through when Bleadslow was the QB.

I remember when Bledsoe was the qb. The Oline was terrible in everybodies opinion.

Once Romo got in there, we all of a sudden became good...LOL

Did the line just magically decide to play better or is there something we're missing? hmmmm

It took time for this line to gel. Romo was running for his life up to about the Chicago game. Everyone remember him dodging blitzers and getting the pass off in that game constantly? A step here, a stiff arm there, then boom, pass to TO.

Once the line gelled, they did become as good as everyone said they were. Romo stopped having to run for his life.

However, I do think they regressed in the playoff game. And when Romo had to start dodging again, he was like "What? I have to run? What the heck?"

I don't know if that was regression or just the fact that the Giant's front 4 was just killer the entire playoffs. Our Oline got tired, they just got better and better all game... and continued it through the playoff and on to what is supposedly one of the best OLines in the game in the SB.

Sometimes you just have to tip your hate... though all in all, I thought our Oline was good, not great. Kosier especially I think is very replaceable come next year.

I'm hoping that the re-signing of Flozel will allow Phillips to go ahead with last year's plan to try McQuistan at OG in TC in hopes McQ will be able to challenge/replace Kosier at some point. Or, maybe Marten can be groomed to replace Kosier if Houck wants to groom both Free & McQuistan to be able to replace Flozel within 2 years. It will be interesting to see what the Cowboys do with all 3 of our younger OTs.

Can't say I watch the center closely enough to comment intelligently, but he certainly needs to improve his shotgun snap. I don't notice him getting beaten often, however.

He's a good center ... not a great one, but a good one. You can't have Hall of Famers at every position, as much as you might like to.

I think he's probably a lot bit overrated. But at least now his contract looks more reasonable after the Faine signing.

I dunno about overrated. He is what he is, which is one of the better centers in the NFC. Who also apparently has trouble with shotgun snaps in the middle of seasons for no apparent reason.

It helps when the QB will let go of the ball once in awhile.

I think he is a very good center but I do think he has room for improvement in his game. Hopefully he will continue to work on his shotgun snap and other areas of his game but for the most part I think he does a good job and in my view is not over rated.
