At this point...Who cares?

If Harris tore his acl or something of that nature there goes your return game and #3 wideout for next year. Kid is good

I would like to know about Dez as well.

Quarterback Tony Romo said he suffered a cracked rib on his left side, an injury sustained when he was hit by Commanders cornerback Josh Wilson late in the second quarter.

Receiver Dez Bryant suffered severe lower back spasms that forced him to leave the game in the fourth quarter. Bryant, who was not available to the media after the game, had to be helped into the showers and left the stadium in a wheelchair.

The back thing bothers me. The one thing you really can't mess with is the back. Knees you can repair. Joints and ligaments heal. But backs are a temperamental thing.

Hopefully. Doesn't Stoudemire have recurring back issues that cause him a lot of trouble? I may be wrong.

A COX-2 inhibitor shot and he'll be fine in a week if it was just a muscle spasm. They hurt like hell, but recovery is not a significant issue.

I remember Tracy McGrady had issues with recurring severe back spasms. Hopefully for Dez its not something that is going to linger.

As someone who doesn't know any better let me ask you this: Its not the recovery that I am worried about- is this something that could become chronic?

Amare has a bulging disk which is something wrong with the vertebrate and that will obviously be a serious issue for an athlete especially one who plays basketball. Dez just strained his lower back muscles. I suffered back spasms just last week and it took like 2 days to recover from it.

It's probably just a spasmed muscle. I'm prone to them, but only when I do something stupid. It's probably something that one of the doctors here can tell you can become chronic, but I don't think it's anything that we'd have to worry about. They hurt like hell when they happen. It's basically a back muscle seizing up and refusing to un-contract. When I get them, the leg on the side of my body that's seizing is literally a couple inches shorter than the other leg from the hard contraction. Once it releases, it's fine, though.

The strength and conditioning coach should now be aware that Dez needs strengthen his entire core and his hamstrings need to become more flexible in order to prevent it from happening again, but considering Miles Austin still has hamstring issues idk if the message will get relayed.

For the love of baby ***** please don't bring mention Dez and hamstrings in the same thread.

Thought Harris' would be more severe the way he couldn't move...like he had been knocked out or had a neck injury and they didn't want to move him. Good to hear it's an ankle.

Steve Nash has had back issues for probably a decade now and he's still going strong.
