Sorry about starting another TO thread but i have to ask this question, I have just heard that the dolphins have dropped out of the TO runing because some of the veterans said there might be trouble. the broncoes are lookin to trade away their 2 first rounders becuase they cant afford to pay them right now so it also sounds as if they are out. the chiefs have seemed to drop out as well soo is it almost a definate that he will land here?? BTW i am still undecided if i want him here or not but the more i hear about him on here the more excited i get about having a true superstar on the Dallas Cowboys.

I don't think that Owens will land here and it's because of OWENS, not us!

In other words, Jerry will be really careful and not offer him a big, guarenteed deal (like he wants). Owens will balk and sit a while, perhaps the entire year. He thinks too much of himself to submit to a "trial" deal.

His antics have ruined his reputation and now he must "prove himself"....(although he doesn't see it that way).

He'd have been far better off behaving and staying in Philly and playing out the contract he previously signed.

He's due for a big lesson. A financial one. Maybe it's the only kind that can really "open his eyes".

It's coming. Wait and see how little he signs for (if he signs at all).

Jerry Jones is playing this thing perfectly. Stay low and out of sight until all the other teams have insulted T.O. with their "trial offers" and small money. Then, when T.O. comes knocking on our door (as a last resort) we'll know just what to offer. It won't be much, but a tad bit more than the others. Owens will either take it or leave it.

I'm betting he leaves it and sits out (until at least after the season starts).

But, if he decides to take it, we'll have gotten him for a pittance compared to what the folks here on this forum have said they'd be willing to pay.

Jerry might be from Arkansas, but he isn't dumb!
