Nice, thanksIt doesn't matter how long or short you play. If you take the first snap at qb you are considered the "starter" no matter if you come out after first series of not.

It's really a made up stat? I just got thinking about it on Sunday when they showed the comparsion between Dak and Big Ben and they said Ben holds the record for most victories in a rookie season with 13. So if I understand you correctly there's no NFL record for victories by a rookie QB? Or the record keepers don't count if you start as long as you play? Or did CBS or whatever station aired the game just put that up and made up the record as if it was official. I'm confused. It's a phony made up stat that isn't recognized by the NFL. Choose whatever criteria you want. If you want to say that the first QB off the bus gets the "win", you can. It's totally up to you.
Well it's real because we're sitting here talking about it. It's not an official stat. Generally everyone knows what it is, and the concept behind it is fairly obvious. You can go look at NFL.com's official record book and there's no trace of it anywhere. It's not an official stat like passer rating is. The official NFL record book clearly defines what the passer rating formula is. I have no idea who defined the QB win but I strongly suspect it was Clove from this forum. It's really a made up stat? Good one!!Looney and Cleary are the only non-starting OL's that dress.
It's not like Romo would be behind a team of no names.
After all, Dak has to play behind Free each game.
I agree if we do play Romo to get the rust off of him he will be behind a pro bowl line for sureIt would only be 2 of 5 backup OL at most.
I'm fairly certain that if Romo plays they'll keep the starting OL in with him.
I would like to see him play. Unfortunately it's a road game, but the fans will still get to see him play (on TV) his final regular season game for the Cowboys.
Also, if he plays and does not get injured, then he could have legit trade value this off-season.
Gotcha, yeah that makes sense. Thanks. Lol at "strongly suspect it was Clove from this forum". HaWell it's real because we're sitting here talking about it. It's not an official stat. It's also a fairly dumb stat anyway, if a QB starts the game, hands off one time, and then exits with an injury he still gets the "win". The requirement is if you start the game and your team wins, regardless of how well you play or if you even stick around for the ending, you get a "win". How useful does that sound?
