Not necessarily a bad thing. I'm not sure it's ever a good thing when an o-lineman's name is called out on tv unless it's when a coach has been singing his praises.

With base protection, he looks like he's doing really well. I don't know how much time the team has put into this game or what looks they'll get tonight, but even so, the kid looks solid.

Very pleased with him thusfar.

He did miss a blitz pickup which ended up flushing Drew out of the pocket. Other than that he didn't pick up the stunt. In that play he should have slipped off the double block and picked up Tubbs. But it might be that someone didn't make the call to tell him about the stunt.

I've been impressed with his pass coverage other than that. I don't have much to say on the run blocking as they really didn't run towards him much.

Overall pretty solid game. Not perfect but it wasn't expected he would be. If (big if here) he continues to work hard and improve little by little he just might be our starter in San Deigo.

I only saw the 1st half so far, but he improved from last week from what I saw. Let him keep at it and if we give up on Tucker then we need to bring a vet in as well.

I think after tonight bringing in a vet is pretty much out. Pettiti did a pretty solid job for a rookie in only his second preseaosn start and Tucker didn't have a bad second half. We will stick with these two guys and Vollers IMO.

BTW I don't think Vollers did that well on the Left side. We would be in trouble if Adams wasn't in there for some reason.
