Trade down in the first, gain a 3rd and 6th
Trade down in the second, add a 4th
Trade a two 6ths and a 7th, add a 5th

Anything is possible, but think about this. We have 10 draft picks, but don't have 10 holes to fill. It is possible we might try and trade 5th round, both 6th, and all our 7th rounders to try and move up.

I won't be surprised no matter what we do. I don't expect any rookie to start for us this year.

If we are smart we try and pick up a couple of picks for next yr. I wouldn't want to trade down too much if at all.

good points by both of you guys....

However, Hostile.....I can see 10-12 holes on our team going into the draft....

but yes, I would like to sacrifice those 6ths and 7ths to gain maybe 2 more 1st day picks and possibly an extra 5th...that would be 8 picks...

i also wouldn't mind trading some of lost late rounders for picks next year as well.....NE seems to do that with regularity and success

that is why the BPA is the best philosophy....trade down when the time is right, but if picking go with the BPA, not the most glaring need.....this teams has several "needs".

Taking the BPA has also worked out very well for the Pats.

I just hope by BPA...they also pick best versatile player available......cause that has definitely been something that has helped the Pats
