Is it possible to trade players on your roster during the draft?

I wonder if that could be part of the deal. Would trading a player you already have for a draft pick be some way around the Free Agency market?

I have a feeling that the lack of a CBA weighs heavily against this happening, but I dare to ask the question.

I'm sure Dallas could use some proven talent in place of potential at certain spots, safety for one.

No player trades without a CBA.
