Is it safe to say Center or G will be next ?

Ben Jones at 113 and Ladarius Green/Orson Charles at 135. If Jones is gone, I'd even go Ladarius Green/Orson Charles at 113 and Phillip Blake at 135.

Cosigned.

The anonymous scouts' comments on Ben Jones scare me --

2. BEN JONES, Georgia (6-21/2, 302, 5.36, 3) — Four-year starter from Centreville, Ala. "I know he’s getting hot, but I’m not sure why," one scout said. "A buddy from another team called me yesterday and said, ’Our coaches love this guy. What am I missing?’ He’s small and weak and not a good athlete. Besides that, he’s a **** of a player." Voted team MVP in 2011. "He’s like Jeff Saturday in that he can get guys set at the line," another scout said. "Extremely smart. Good for a locker room. Works hard. There’s some athletic limitations. He can probably start some games and win, but long-term you don’t want him being the guy." A medical reject for one team. "He looks like the biggest guy at the fraternity house," a third scout said. "Real young looking. He’s overdrafted if he goes before the sixth or seventh round."

Calling it now...a Garrett RKG special...David Molk, C, Michigan. Maybe the 2nd 4th or the 5th round.

The OL could use some leadership and attitude.

Im ok with the DE. Trenches. Now time for Inner Oline? I would have taken Blake. He will be gone before we pick again.

Could easily be a TE or WR. A QB wouldn't even surprise me, but it would dishearten me.

No thanks, if I want to watch some one get pushed around I can throw in tape of Costa from last season.

41 reps at the Combine I believe.

Saulsbury in the 5th or 6th might happen too.

I still think Blake is coming tomorrow.

Don't forget we got 2 picks in the 4th round. Hope one of those picks is a C; the other pick may well be a RB or TE. Don't forget we drafted Marion Barber in the 4th round and he was a great player for us for about 4 years--until his running style drastically affected his health.

Some guys that could be targets for us today...

Tight end: Orson Charles, Rhett Ellison

Wide receiver: Joe Adams

OL: Philip Blake, Joe Looney, Ronald Leary

RB: Lamar Miller, Cyrus Gray

LB: Ronnell Lewis, Tank Carder

S: George Iloka

Yeah. I've read a few negative tings like this about him as well. The "small and weak" thing is a huge red flag for me. I definitely feel more comfortable with Blake, even though I know he is not a prefect prospect either (nobody is at this point). I have no problem with Dallas taking a guard if he is ranked higher than the centers. Out of the FAs we just signed, our young interior linemen, and a draftee, I'd hope that one of them could be a competent center.

If we pull off Blake and Adams in the 4th and maybe Carder in the 5th, this would be a very good draft IMO. A TE and a safety in the 6th and 7th would be nice, but I just want them to take the highest rated guys that have good potential at that point (that's how you end up with guys like Rat and Lissemore).

I think Charles could be a real possibility.

If we get Phillip Blake, I might post "Championship" around here.

Center, the Cowboys talked about making DeCastro a center, that sounds like an admission that center is a high priority.

If the Texans' center, who is not big, was the best free agent center that was available this spring, what was it that makes him special?

One of my 17 personalities has started channeling Al Davis, and he wants to draft the other LSU cornerback.

Easy to say BPA

I don't think TE yet, as that will be 3rd stringer no matter what, so the diference in 4th round or a FA doesn't matter.

That's not really true. If they got a guy who can run routes, make easy catches, and block well from a technical perspective, he could start the season as the #2.

Wow what a blah draft minus Claiborne. Oline may be worse this year.
