BP has treated this team like kids and chose not to beat them down. That has not worked at all.

Is it time to take the opposite approach and challenge their manhood and their hearts?

I think it may be. No more postive approach, beat them down all week and see how they respond.

I am completely lost as to why we were top 5 in all categories only to completely drop off the map. Offense is still good, assuming we stop turning it over. But the defense, only thing I can figure is people got enough film on us to know what we do consistantly. And zimmer won't change it up and won't let the db's bump receivers off the line.

I think this unit is pressing right now and not playing loose. I think these players have to find it within themselves to just go out and just play the game of football. Believe it or not this is a game that guys are supposed to enjoy.

This really applies to the defense.

When is the last time anyone celebrated after a play?

And no, I am not referring to the pathetic display that Bradie James did briefly after a tackle the other day.

The defense just looks like they don't care and are going through the motions. From the looks of things, they are waiting blindfolded with a cigarette for the next big play they give up rather than anything else.

You gotta remember that Parcells has his micromanagement hands on a lot of things.
Believe me, Zimmer knows it is not working. But nothing happens or does not happen without Parcells' fat little fingers in the mix.

Yeah, Zimmer shares the blame, but the ultimate manipulator is Parcells, headheadedness incarnate. He won't change. The defense won't get better until Jones pries the reins from him. Go back to Joisey, BP!:)

parcells is all for jamming receivers he has alluded to it in his PCs but zimmer doesn't like it and it doesn't seem to happen. Bill isn't a big blitzer but he as alluded to being all for jamming receivers off the line.

For whatever reason, Parcells is giving players 3 days off multiple times this season since Thanksgiving, hoping to keep them fresh for the title run. I don't think the players are coming back from such timeoff verywell and it is taking them a game or 2 to get back into a groove.
