Is it too early to commend this team on their offseason departures?

CEE DEE wouldn't be the CEE DEE he is today if Amari was still here. Amari doesn't show up on road games. That's useless to a team that may be on the road for every playoff game.

The reason people call out the morons on this site for their CRAP is they spend MONTHS telling us how much our team sucks. Telling us how bad they are. And we eat it up. So yeah when the opportunity presents itself? Yeah people let them have it. Maybe its prematurely. But its not anymore premature than the people on this site who said we would be 9-8 or worse this offseason. Everyone has a voice on this site. Any real fan shouldn't care if they were proven wrong. I was wrong on a lot of things and I couldn't be more happy. People try so hard to be a "realist" that you've turned against your own team and don't even enjoy watching Cowboy football anymore.
LoL, their guess was just as good as yours. Being critical of this team is not a single bit worse than being one of it's homers, they're all just opinions. And if you can't take the "negativity" you shouldn't join an online forum. As long as all this team produces are +500 regular seasons "they" are closer to the truth than you, lol. I on the other hand am equally fed up with all that blowing sugar up their arses all the friggin time after so many wasted years, but I accept it as... well, as an opinion as good as mine. You guy's just can't do the same for whatever reasons.

Everybody wants that superbowl win, no matter how they approach this team and what they do. Being a realist is by no means worse than being a brown noser all the time.

Getting rid of potential deadweight? This is not about the additions. I know many of you would like to harp on who we could've signed and who we should've drafted.....this is all about the departures.

Conner Williams - Having a solid season. Dolphins figured out where to play him on the line.
Randy Gregory - He has Russell Wilson to thank because if it wasn't for him people would be talking about how big of a bust this signing was. Cowboys wanted to put clauses in his deal that they knew he wouldn't accept and he left. Can last be seen fighting on the sidelines.
Amari Cooper - CZ's favorite player....well not until he left. I'm sure many of you are wondering why we haven't gotten the weekly updates on his play by posters on this site like we were getting earlier in the season. Probably because since Watson has returned he's caught 16 passes for 212 receiving yards. He has a 1k receiving yard season under his belt and that's worth commending especially with most of it coming from Brissett...to no surprise his best games have come in home games this year lol. But i'm sure soon as he has a 100 receiving yard game the resident knee jerkers will remind us so stay tuned......
La'El Collins - terrible start to the season.....seems like things were getting better as the season went on and ultimately is now out for the season.
Ty Neskhe
Brent Urban - Nonfactor
Kazee - Pittsburgh
Neal
Jarwin - Out of the league
Malik Turner - bounced around a few teams
Cedric Wilson - A guy who everyone said we'd miss.....not even the 3rd or 4th option there. Not sure if they knew they were trading for Tyreke Hill or not but I feel bad for the guy. Never stood a chance there. He worked hard to get that payday.
Greg the Leg

They deserve their props. They got better simply because of drafting well and getting rid of deadweight.
The loss of Cooper has hurt Dak.

I said it back when we got rid of all these guys Good riddance except for Cedric Wilson I really liked him.

He was a reliable receiver and a pretty darn good passer too.

No matter how good amari Cooper was I understood that he was not going to give his best effort here for whatever reason.

Same with Collins these guys just became disenchanted here so they had to go.

Connor Williams reinvented himself good for him but it wasn't working here.

Randy Gregory was an absolute smacked glass from day one and I was thrilled when we sent his dope smoking behind to Denver.

We wasted a serious amount of time on that fool. Not to mention Armstrong exceeded his production.

How so? If Cooper doesn't show up in big games and never on the road....and the Cowboys are 5-1 against teams .500 or better...how on earth has it hurt him? Dak's lack of preseason and his hand injury has hurt him more than Coop's departure.

I agree and let me also add that most of those guys were underachievers. They were not playing to their potential. And they STILL aren't except Conner Williams.
Cedric Wilson was the one who did and got himself paid. I exclude him from that group.

Oh I can take the negativity that's why i'm here laughing at the though of all those predictions this offseason that have been proven to be wrong. If i'm gonna read the negativity I gotta be here to see all get proven wrong lol.

And there's nothing wrong with "criticism". That's not what i'm referencing. I'm referencing the "Cowboys suck" and "Dak sucks" type posts. Its not actual "criticism". Its people who simply want to troll and rile up this forum. Its telling that a lot of those guys aren't here after a big W against Philly. Very telling lol.

LoL, laughing it off by using the luxury of hindsight. So IF they go out one and done again, the critics are allowed to do the same with you then?

That's pathetic and kindergarten behaviour. Let's try to be more mature and present our "facts", uhm, opinions without hiding a "call out" in between the lines and things will get alot nicer here. This goes out to all those people too of course, who are more interested in proving the critics wrong instead of just sharing their opinions about the team.

Still think you're wrong on Amari by the way. :p

If the critics predicted they go one and done then they will get the last laugh. Sure. The time to be mature has long passed. Now its time to laugh. Maybe in the offseason we can try your approach of being "mature" lol.
Wrong on Amari about what? He was an addition by subtraction. He's not the only one. Collins too. Conner too. How many vets have you seen foolishy commit penalties at wrong times like Gregory did? Or lead the league in penalties like Conner Williams? Or only show up in home games like Coop?
