Is it too late to replace Bruce Read?

It is too late to get rid of this bozo? Our special teams suffered last year, and are looking to be even worse this year with the losses of Davis, Reeves, and Jones. Leave it up to Parcells to screw everything up when he sat on the fence last year about the job and let DeHaven get away. If we can improve our special teams, not including Folk & McBriar, we can improve our whole team. And don't give me the Miles Austin, Stanback routine. Kickoff returns were ok, but Crayton Fair-Catch, and the coverage sucked on both punt and kick-offs. Nothing like watching Eli have to move the ball a whole 50 yards to score a quick TD. Sometimes I feel like I'm watching the Arena League! What do you guys think can?

I would think if he was going to be replaced it would have already been a done deal.

Unless our ST improves this season, I think we can safely assume that our ST coach will be gone. This isn't the first time that Wade brought in a ST coach who couldn't do the job. Wade essentially got fired in Buffalo because of the poor ST performance under the ST coach he brought in.

I didn't care for Dehaven and I don't think Wade wanted him anyway. I just wasn't happy with Read either.

We're just 3 weeks away from the Draft, have already begun OTAs, and will start mini camps and stuff right after the draft.

Of course it's not too late to replace him even though any good coaches are already employed somewhere and we can't have them. It should be no problem to pull some bum off the streets and plug him right into a successful staff and organization and not screw everything up.

Got anyone in mind?

Wasn't Wade's ST coach at that time Bruce DeHaven? Correct me if I'm wrong.

read was average when he was with the Giants and he was really good with Oregan State and San Diego.

Hopefully he can quit sucking here.

Special teams is actually the main reason i want Tyrell johnson. Hes a special teams ace.
