Is it worth buying the throwback jersey?

I am getting ready to put an order in, literally right now, on an authentic Dez Bryant jersey. How do most of you guys feel about purchasing the throwback jersey? Is it something some of you guys would never do? I honestly have never seen an authentic throwback in person but they do look pretty sweet on tv.

I currently own a authentic Newman (white) and a authentic Romo (blue). I personally like the blue more than the white so I am deciding between the road jersey and the throwback for my new Dez jersey. What do you guys think?

The only real downside is the throwback is more expensive and it appears it will take longer for me to get it..I would like to have it for week 1..

I plan to get a throwback jersey, but whwn I do I will only do so with a player's mane who actually wore the jersey "back in the day" when it was that player's actual jersey.

Basically what I'm saying is that I think it's a bit hokey to get a throwback jersey of a current player. As far as Dez Bryant, he's coming into the league wearing the 2010 jersey. If you get his jersey then get that one, because suppose one day he makes it to the hall of fame (we hope), then in about 15 or 20 years you'll already have his authentic "throwback" jersey from his 2010 rookie season.

damn, you are a smart man...that was probably the smartest response I could have expected..I never think that far down the line lol

lol, now I am thinking about getting the White one...was looking at pics of Bryant jerseys and the white one looks frickin sweet

They should have the 50th anniversary patch on them as well. I know all of the replica's and EQT(premier) jerseys we have gotten in this year have the patch.

Getting a current jersey with the 50th anniversary patch is all the more reason to get the current Bryant jrsey and not the throwback. So years from now, you'll truly have his rookie-year "throwback", and a commemorative jersey at that. But make sure it has the patch when you order it.

You asked if you should get the white or the blue jersy. If you're a slender guy and realtively fit, then get the white jersey - especialkly if you're somewhat broad shouldered too. Otherwise get the blue jersey. I say that because the white jersey looks bad on pudgy guys or guys with scrawney shoulders, where as the blue jersey does a better job of "hiding" those physical imperfections.
