Is it wrong to feel good about our QB?

Ill admit he didnt play well on Monday, But maybe im ******** but i saw things form him that make me feel good about him for the rest of our season.

Maybe its just me, but to me he seems like the kind of guy who never fails, he always succeeds at what he does. he has the perfect attitude. He doesnt let past bad decisions bother him, and he says its more about us than them. I love guys who think that way. On his conference call he said They have a great Defense, but its about us not them. We will be fine.

Maybe he will stink it up, but can us Romo fans be happy we may have found the next Aikman?

of course people SHOULD root for him...he's the starting QB of our team

not only do we want him to do well because he plays here, but if he turns out to be the answer at QB we save having to invest in next years draft or free agency in a starting QB and can instead look to improve in other areas

If you don't cheer for Romo then you're not a fan, we should rally behind the guy and see what he can do for 10 games.

The Twilight Zone. I must have stepped into it. Unreal how over sensitive some are about this player.

Wake up! There is no one on the bench to threaten this kid's PT. We have no Henson or Hutch to scream for. No one is going to yell for Bledsoe except his loyal minions. No one.

I think it's safe to not be paranoid people. Criminy.

I find it sad, how often you have to put this kid down, why dont you wait till the game against Carolina is over before you say well he isnt going to amount to anything.

I haven't put him down. I haven't said he will amount to nothing. I said he didn't play well. There's a huge freaking difference.

Toughen up.

How did Hos insult TR? He basically agreed that his job is safe--even though I think that's a big maybe. I just don't trust Bill.

I didn't insult Romo. I said he didn't play well Monday night. I'm evil and I tear the kid down. Avoid me or you can end up pissed off too. Of course you might need to start a hand wringing thread first.

The finger nails diet is funny to me. But I'm sick like that.

"Help me understand, what does he have to do so all of you love him?"

How about play well? I don't know, seems like a good start to me.

I'll root for Romo, just like I did for Bledsoe and the others who came after Aikman. The one thing Romo needs to learn RIGHT NOW, is to throw the ball away when no one is open. Just protect the ball like Parcells says and he'll give us a chance to win IMO. You can't expect too much from Romo right now. I just hope he's mature enough to handle the pressure of what is expected of him on AND off the field.

Certainly it's okay to root for Romo cause he's now our starting QB--and besides what are our options. I've been a Bledsoe supporter since the day we signed him and believe he played well for us last year-except for those few game changing INTs. However, starting from the opening game against the Jax, he hasn't played any where near as well as last season. He did better against the nexty 2 low level teams but finally his play against the EAgles (particularly the one big INT in/near the end zone when it looked like we had good chance to get back into the game) cause me to reevaluate his ability to take us to the next level.

The reality is that the Cowboys probably aren't going any where with Bledsoe unless he has a transformation or our OL dramatically improves. Maybe with a great OL, he's okay but frankly I think he's near/at end of his career. Hopefully Romo, who has sit on the bench learning for 3 years, can use his mobility to escape some of the blitzing he'll see and make a few plays. In any case we'll will finally know by end of season if he's got a future as an NFL starter or if in 07 we must use first day pick to draft quality QB.

Frankly, if Bledsoe had continued to start I doubt we end up any higher then 8-8 which certainly gives us a decent draft position--but certainly not what any of us thought would be the case when the season starter. Don't know what we happend with Romo but I'm optimistic until shown otherwise. But in any case, just don't see any way that Parcells goes back to Bledsoe unless Romo throughs 3-5 INTs every game & we go on long losing strike. I just want Romo to look good cause it's very important for our Cowboys. Nuts to anyone whose rooting for one particular QB and wishes the other QB ill.

I know that is true because I spoke to both his fans yesterday and told them to chill out.

Why would you not root for Romo? I saw our offense looked fired up for the first time all year last week.....that was not a fluke. Let's see what the kid is made of.
