The ivy league connection is hard to miss. Is he as smart a player as Garrett was said to be?

Maybe we have another career 3rd stinger on the team?

I notice he's already getting some attention in camp, and it seems like most of the fans watching only have negative things to say about Drew Henson.

For you fans who have been there, what are your thoughts on Mroz? How does his arm look?

By the way, here's his NFL draft diary:

If Bill has shown one thing, he ain't afraid to keep unknown 3rd string QBs, and get rid of fellas with more pedigree behind 'em.

I think Mroz has more physical tools than Garrett ever had, but I don't think he's going to be getting rid of Henson, despite Henson's time away from the game, this will be his 3rd camp w/ the 'boys, he's a PS candidate though

I just noticed in his draft diary, he worked out with Chris Palmer to prepare for the draft. I'm sure that reflected Bill's decision to bring him in, I wonder how much it will help him quickly getting used to the Cowboys and the NFL.

2/22
I've worked out with two great QB coaches. I worked out with Chris Palmer, the former head coach of the Browns and o-coordinator for the Texans and Jags, in early January. He gave me drills to work on, things to improve on, and talked about the differences between the college game and the pro game. He focused mainly on footwork, something that I needed to improve. The footwork in the NFL is a lot different from the footwork in college. Because the speed is so great in the NFL, the windows close a lot quicker, so you have to be ready to throw the ball right away. Coach Palmer watched my footwork constantly and I've been doing the drills he's given me, and I feel a big improvement. He was the smartest coach I've been around and helped me out a great deal.

I think the COwboys scouted Mroz and sent Palmer to work w/ him, thinking they could find another diamond in the rough ala Romo

No, Palmer was mentoring or coaching him to prepare for draft way before Cowboys hired Palmer.

Mroz has good size, a very capable arm, and is very smart. Garrett was just heady...he didn't really have an NFL arm. Mroz has an outside chance to make the team...if not I hope we can keep him on the PS.

I believe so, why?, because Jason Garrett was the type of person that was a real good quarterback that no one really paid attention to, Jeff Mroz might just beat Drew Henson out of his job.

I feel that Tony Romo reminds me alot of Clint Stoerner. Clint Stoerner reminded me of Roger The Dodger when he scrambling skills.

Besides Quincy Carter, I would like to see Clint Stoerner back, he is a good quarterback.

I believe Campo made a terrible mistake taking Clint Stoerner out in that New York Giant game, I feel that Clint Stoerner would have won that game, that's just a example of poor coaching.

I think that Tony Romo is going to be ready if he starts in the NFL. I think he could lead us to the superbowl if Bledsoe falls.

Or Romo, though I doubt it for either guy. I bet he makes the Practice Squad though.

No way. Henson, not Romo is the best scrambler on the team, and none of the 3 are anywhere near Roger's league.

I think I'm going to throw up.

Actually it's an example of poor personnel decisions that we had no QBs after Troy retired.

I'd sure like to see some evidence of it in a fotball game.
