Saw this quote from Jerry...

"Well, I feel like that, two things: number one, and we should see what Rob has got in store in the first preseason game, I'm talking about his defense. But on the other hand, he is doing some things out there that are real sound."

Um, what? Is it just me or is Jerry making less and less sense when he talks? Is it because he is hiding something like raging alcoholism or is he just becoming a senile old man?

Oh, and by the way, he made this comment after the first preseason game. Not that it would matter much because it sounds like gibberish from beginning to end.

Oh please, enough Jerry bashing. It's like a broken record.

Jerry sponsored a team of doctors to cure cancer. They did. When presented with the only copy of the report, he gathered up the physicians who had done the research and took them to the cancer ward of a children's hospital.

Once there, he made a quick presentation to the kids who were gravely ill about the findings on how they could all be cured and live pain free in a matter of months.

The children's faces lit up with huge smiles.

Jerry took out a pistol and shot every doctor in the head.

He then took the report, shredded it fifty times, and had his henchmen stuff the flecks of paper into 4000 bags of donated rice going to feed the starving children of the world.

Once the bags were sewn shut Jerry told the children in the cancer ward that they could tear open the bags and take possibly the rest of their short lives to put the cure for cancer back together. However, in doing so the rice would be ruined and the children it was going to feed would die a slow death from starvation.

So he gave the kids 10 minutes to decide. Once they picked to save the cure for cancer at the expense of their fellow suffering children but saving millions as a trade off, Jerry verbally lashed them for sending other children to die. He ordered his henchmen to load the rice onto planes, and using a live video feed, he showed the cancer patients his henchmen dumping the rice into the ocean in real time.

So if you're going to bash Jerry for something, go after him for crushing the hopes and dreams of cancer patients, letting hundreds of others starve to death, and for depriving humanity of the cure for cancer because after reading this board and others I'm convinced he's evil like that.

This might in fact be the best post ever. On any message board. Anywhere. Ever.

He is evil Salty. He let us use that POS software over at True Blue. That in itself will drive anyone to the brink. :banghead:

Awesome, just awesome. :lmao2:

I don't know. Stick a microphone in my face 2 or 3 times a day and ask me the same **** over and over again, and I have no doubt something I say will be just as worthless and inscrutable. FWIW, it sounds like Jerry is saying not everything Ryan is doing is fancy, advanced, unpredictable schemes, but he's also emphasizing the fundamentals with his players.

Anyway, I think one of the main functions of Jerry Jones is to shield Stephen and the rest of the guys from the media. It can't be all narcissism, right?

Jerry not losing it only those who hate the man seem to get upset by anything he says. Seem to be the norm

Who gives a crap? Seriously. What the hell does it matter what Jerry says in a friggen interview?

Some of the people around here need to find healthier hobbies then looking around for stupid quotes or whatever to start yet ANOTHER lets bash Jerry thread.

On top of that all it leads to is this stupid crap (though it hasn't yet but I have no doubt it will) with more of the "You're a hater..You're an appologist", crap that always goes with these.

just be happy he has not turned into al davis yet. OMG al davis is something.

For those keeping score at home, Jerry's been doing this for a long, long time, i.e. making two points in the same breath that seem to counterdict each other.

It's just how Jerry is.

:D Ah heck, just another example of gibberish...;)What was forgotten, was the telephone calls from off shore accounts telling about future lottery winnings, but only after sending thousands to that account for all the children's family members. Then the requests for bank account information and credit card access...

Its Jerry's talk....let him flap his gums.....he is the owner and GM. :)

He has been doing since he bought the team.....and fans still complain about it.

We all understand......Jerry = anything bad that happens to the Cowboys...

When something good happens.....its someone else who deserves credit

Im still surprised.....so much hate....I mean over 2 decades of hate from fans towards Jerry Jones.....yet they still buy gear and cheer for the Cowboys.

Why piss on this *******'s wet dream with the truth?

Just let him take his shot at his boogeyman.

Per Jerry: "We should see what Rob has got in store in the first preseason game, I'm talking about his defense"

Translation: Free agency is always a posibility. But before I decide to supplement the defensive roster through free agency after final cuts are made, I want to first see if the defensive players that we already have in house give Rob ryan what he needs to execute his defense the way he wants to.

Per Jerry: "But on the other hand, he is doing some things out there that are real sound."

Translation: Early indication is that the defensive palyers that we have in house give Rob Ryan what he needs to execute his defense. But we'll still need the defensive coaches to break down the first preseason game's tape, and do a final evaluation at the end of all preseason games, to know that for sure. But if I have to guess based on what I see right now, I'd say that we most likely have what we need on defense; and so we will not likely be very active in free agency with respect to defense once final cuts are madee.

Edit: Translating Jerry is like translating twitter. :laugh2:
