Bud Selig owned the Brewers sold his interest with in the family then became Commissioner. He is getting teams moved to LA he is talking about getting a Team to Las Vegas. Looks like ol Jer is making power moves

I don't think they could pay him enough.

And besides as an owner (a powerful one at that) he's already one of the main puppeteers for his leagues bad guy.

Uh, no.

The way he speaks is enough to keep him from ever getting chosen. Listening to him make a point is like fingernails on a chalk board. I can literally go make a sandwich and be back in time for him to finish one of his rambling thoughts.

A owner cannot be commissioner.

Its just a ridiculous shot at Jerry ........ who does stupid enough things without someone making dumb accusations that does not make any sense.

Goodell isn't going anywhere anytime soon and if he did, I seriously doubt Jerry would have any interest in selling the team. Not to mention the league would not want a short term answer as commissioner which is what Jerry would be due to age alone. None of that even addresses the image the league wants to put forth which simply put, Jerry wouldn't fit well with.

One day? At his age it's See this thing through or step away. I can't see him stepping away, willingly at least.

Never say never. But this is very unlikely. Jerry would be far too old when Goodell steps/gets pushed aside.

If he became The commish he would have to sell his team to someone or give complete control and ownership to his son or family.

So...no...I don't ever see that happening.

With Jerry's ego ....... I don't see how anyone could think he would put himself in a subordinate position too the other owners.

He will be dead before he relinquishes a smidgen of power.

Yeah, no. Never happen for several reasons. Number #1, he would NEVER sell the Cowboys. #2, while the other owners understand that he makes the league money. They aren't going to give him that type of power. He is far too much of an ego maniac.

No. Provided he's even alive when the next commissioner needs to be found, the league isn't going to pick a guy who is that old.

No, Jerry is only interested in placing himself and the Cowboys financially in a position where is GMing isn't going to cost his franchise.

And how he can have mediocre results on the field while remaining #1 in revenue.
