Is KC Make Or Break For Bledsoe?

If Bledsoe continues to be ineffective and causes more turn-overs and we lose to KC, is he done?

Should we pull him and try the back ups?

Yes, our backups should do far better with crap blocking than Bledsoe.

Not unless you want to ditch the rest of the season. If the line can't block the young QB's are not going to get the job done. Myself I don't want to see this team give up.

If we're eliminated from the playoff race, then they should play.

But we know from last year that that will never happen.

If Bledsoe continues to (not be on a pace to set the franchise yardage record) and (gets blindsided as he tries to simply handoff) should we pull him and try the back ups?

Absolutely. If Drew can't set the franchise record, he's done. Any backup could do that. If Drew can't put up his best rating of his entire career (87) then he's not good enough. Any backup can do better.

If we are willing to pull the plug on the season and willing to risk destroying the career of yet another young qb or two, then sure. let's get Bledsoe outta there.

Even Romo could hit a checkdown receiver with 5+ seconds in the pocket. Apparently that's a foreign concept for Tunnel Vision Bledsoe

If the Cowboys win on a strong defensive effort but a rather weak offensive showing will you be starting anonther thread about Bledsoe's ineffectiveness next week?

Yes, pull a vet and turn to a back-up while in the middle of the wildcard (not to mention division) race, that seems like an outstanding idea.

So the "Vinny gives us the best chance to win" history makes you think Parcells would give up on Bledsoe, who clearly has more to offer?

It's not all Bledsoe, It's the Offensive line. When he has to put the priorty to running
away from the defence over throwing the ball, it will make him ineffective.
Get the o-line in gear and put him in a protective pocket and then lets see if he is ineffective. You know Bledsoe is a "statue" and does not move to well and if he has to run he is off big time. other wise we need a "Vick" who can move and play dodge ball with the defense.

I REALLY think people need to stop responding to this post in a serious manner...If you MUST respond, do so in a humorous way...

He won't be done, but any chance to go 10-6 will be just about done.

The Giants fans I spoke with last week at the game were glad they did it last year. Do you know what there record was when they pulled Warner for Eli ?

They just figured Warner wasn't the future, like some people here think Bledsoe is not our future.

I honestly would love to see what Romo has to offer. The Cowboys do have to think about getting a young guy developed. And Romo is our best option at this point and time. At least Parcells seems to think so.

The Giants have Eli, who is doing a pretty decent job in NY in only his second year and will become one of the better QB's in the league in a few years. Washington has Jason Campbell, an enigma at this point... but what if the Skins catch lightning in a bottle with this kid? And the Iggles still have Donovan who is definitely younger than Bledsoe and who still has a few really good seasons left in him if he can get some WR help on that side of the ball.

Where does this leave Dallas for the future when it comes to QB? We have a young and improving defense that better become really good over the next couple of seasons because we will most likely be facing some really good QB's, and that is just in the NFC East alone.

I hope Parcells has the stones to play Romo if and when the Cowboys are mathematically eliminated from the playoffs.

nah, not even close. Bledsoe dont need to prove anything to Parcells. He knows that Unitas would look like Hutch out there behind that line. Next year with the new and improved O line will be the make or break, put up or shut up season for Bledsoe. Should be no excuses, but till then he cant even make his arguement, that line is so bad.

This excuse is getting tired. Watch the game again and see how many times Bledsoe has a clean pocket and 4-6 seconds to throw the frickin ball. The OL played terrible overall but Bledsoe had alot of opportunities to make plays and he screwed them up by holding the ball all day and trying to force the deep one in there instead of checking down to wide open short routes.

Some people even whine that a 3 man rush was getting to Bledsoe. "Ohhh a 3 man rush got to him, our OL sux!". What they failed to include in this genius assessment is that Bledsoe stood there in the pocket all day again waiting to get sacked.

If Bledsoe doesn't stop playing like a rookie we're done.

Difference is, they had a QB waiting to take over, we have Romo and a baseball player.
