Ive read a few times over the past couple weeks that keeping Kellen Moore could factor in to a HC hire.

My question is: Do you really feel Kellen Moore is that important?

Not really.

Good chance the new HC will bring his own OC.

What you all are missing here is the influence of Dak with Jerry. Dak may not want to learn a whole new offense and supposedly loves Moore. Don’t dismiss his influence folks.

then all he has to do is win the next 6 games at least and they can stay together

Not if its an offensive minded head coach...I dont care either way so long as its truly up to the "new coach".

Moore shouldn’t matter. But, he’s the reason why I think Chris Petersen is a real dark horse candidate here. He would likely keep Moore who played for him and lead his offense at Boise State. We know all too well about the Dallas/Boise connection over the years. Petersen may be a serious candidate. Bring in a DC like Ron Rivera if he’s free and all of a sudden your staff may look pretty decent. I still want Urban Meyer or Lincoln Riley though if we’re going to college route.

Who cares about what Dak wants? If he wants to be paid and a part of this team, he’s going to do what the coaching staff/OC tells him to do. Moore’s influence means nothing.
