I asked this in the Draft Zone, but no one replied...i guess those who read it didn't know either.

I am curious because I was looking at Walters Football Site and they had us taking him in the 2nd round of their 2009 mock.

As far as I know, they are not related. Michael is from South Carolina and Ken is from Tennessee. It isn't impossible, but usually we hear about these things and that isn't something I have heard.

Couldn't find out for sure, but Ken went to H.S. in Memphis, while Micheal went to H.S. in S. Carolina.

The family could have moved of course.

EDIT: on the other hand, I found an article about Hamlin's 'incident' in Seattle and it has quotes from his brother Michael.

Whether it's the same Michael is anybody's guess. You'd think there would be some mention of it though.

Ken Hamlin has a brother named Keith who was involved in a fight in Seattle about 2-3 years ago where Ken was attacked at a bar. No mention of another sibling in that article. However their father is named Michael Hamlin & he's a police officer in Memphis. Got no proof but wouldn't be surprised if there could be a younger brother named Michael after the father.

According to the article I posted above, there is a brother named Michael.
