The fact that you don't see the incompatibility of your comparison is sad.

When you kill someone, you don't deserve a second chance. That's an egregious thing.

Agreeing with some stupid comment by Michael Irvin that Brett Favre would have the Eagles undefeated, which was a thinly veiled shot at Donovan McNabb, is not.

Terrell Owens hasn't done anything even close to unforgiveable.

What you are saying is that if we have someone who smoked marijuana when he was 17, we should forever remember back to that incident and bash him for every little thing he does at his job when he gets a job in his 20's. Have a small argument/disagreement with his boss? OH, but he smoked marijuana when he was 17, FIRE HIM!!!

well those would be 2 entirely different offenses..we are talking repeat offenders ...
now if he got caught smoking weed in Georgia when he was 17 and then when hes 20 gets caught again in Texas and tries to stand in front of a court claiming hes innocent and that hes changed because hes never been caught smoking weed in Texas..then yes his past has to come into play when judging him.........and it would..
and the judge would look at him stunned at his inability to understand why... the same way I look at all the T.O. defenders inability to understand why he should be judged by his past when there are real (not just the media made up stuff) signs of it repeating itself

No one has a love affair with TO, personally I don't like him.

But to act like he's the MAIN reason we're unsuccessful is sad. He has his problems, of course. We could cut him tomorrow, I wouldn't give a rats ***.

But some folks have their little tunnel world they live in, they pick and choose who they don't like based on appearance, wardrobe, how they talk, if they are show-boaters or not, it's pathetic and 1950ish.

As soon as TO is gone, these same characters will be here once again, they will find a player on the team they don't like personally, they will protect other players they personally like "even if they suck", and we'll have to read the same garbage we read year after year.

TO was never loved.

He was tolerated by most, particularly last year when he somehow managed to keep his trap shut for 16 weeks.

And comparing Romo to Q is not in the same as 'not blaming him' for anything. He had a crappy year and regressed badly, and even his most ardent supporters will agree to that, but talent wise they are not in the same universe.

Its one of the many reasons most are calling for a coaching change - this staff has let Romo go completely off the reservation - and yes he deserves some blame for that too.

None of which has anything to do with TO either.
Now that's a smart post, welcome back. ;)

Except these are two different "offenses." Owens was not kicked out of Philly for screaming on the sidelines.

Don't you think, to say he is a cancer, a bit rude.
He has done nothing, but awesome things.
Sticked through, thick and thin.
