I'm still trying to figure out why the person that started the thread thinks both Free & Marten would be playing and McQ isn't.

Could it be that the thread-starter in his apparent joy of trying to create some sort of memorable thread (which he usually can't) had a total brain-fart during his moment of self-indulged rapture and forgot that McQ is not a rookie? Hmmm?

#1. McQ played well last year during the preseason.

#2. McQ has played well at both tackle positions so far in this camp.

#3. McQ will most likely be the starting LT next season.

#4. Free's pass blocking has been more than acceptable. It's been his run blocking that hasn't been up to par.

#5. The Colts are a mess at DT which should allow one of the guards to help in pass protection (if necessary).


I don't think this topic deserves multiple threads from chicken little's.

the simple fact that your whinning about Romo playing a quarter in a preseason game, because he "might" get injured. Well guess what? When he has to play in the regular season he "Might" get injured there too. So what's the point in playing him at all? Why not just wait till the last play of the SB, that way he won't ever get hurt till we need him.

I genuinely hate talking about when someone MIGHT get injured. Romo could go out and get in a car accident too and be done with his career. Should he not drive?
