It's not as if the tackles are just going to fall down and give the ends a clean shot at Romo.

Thank you for your well-thought out contribution to the forum. Please make more posts. If you have a thought, start a thread about it. Lord knows when the next one will come around - so catalogue this one for history.

Umm of course they are. We all know they are too stupid and weak to play against NFL cailber players. Why do you think they weren't a top ten pick.

Duh!!!

opening this thread was a mistake.

You hit the nail on the head.

I'm still trying to figure out why the person that started the thread thinks both Free & Marten would be playing and McQ isn't.

Could it be that the thread-starter in his apparent joy of trying to create some sort of memorable thread (which he usually can't) had a total brain-fart during his moment of self-indulged rapture and forgot that McQ is not a rookie? Hmmm?

Maybe he meant rookie as far as playing time

;)

Kind of like how Romo was a rookie until that texan game :D

Its a mistake, and both WR are not playing. I don't see why he needs t be out there that long.

It will Moxie a chance to work on his pocket presence

#1. McQ played well last year during the preseason.

#2. McQ has played well at both tackle positions so far in this camp.

#3. McQ will most likely be the starting LT next season.

#4. Free's pass blocking has been more than acceptable. It's been his run blocking that hasn't been up to par.

#5. The Colts are a mess at DT which should allow one of the guards to help in pass protection (if necessary).

I don't think this topic deserves multiple threads from chicken little's.

Maybe we're going to have to change someone's handle to "chickenroy".

He is a dangerous chicken hawk.

the simple fact that your whinning about Romo playing a quarter in a preseason game, because he "might" get injured. Well guess what? When he has to play in the regular season he "Might" get injured there too. So what's the point in playing him at all? Why not just wait till the last play of the SB, that way he won't ever get hurt till we need him.
if he gets hurt in the regular season, it happened in a game that mattered.

Yeah, he could get hurt in the preseason. Or he could get hurt on the first snap of the regular season. Are you saying that because the game matters in the latter scenario, that you would feel better about Romo being injured?

I genuinely hate talking about when someone MIGHT get injured. Romo could go out and get in a car accident too and be done with his career. Should he not drive?

So because he got hurt in a game that mattered, its okay to be injured? But because he's in a game too get practice and timing down wth his players, its not okay?

Fully understand.

ok smart guy. he can get timing down with his players when more than 60% of his line is in the game not to mention his 2 starting wrs. but you know everything so.....

the routes don't change with a change in WR's. what does the OL have anything to with timing?
