...the guy is still FA out there. Our backups didnt leave pre-season on good expectations. I mean both White and Rush played poorly last two games.

Sanchez brings exp to the game. Its not the best, but might fit the glove for our situation.

..give me some honey on this.. ;)

This is what a W gets us. Nah I’d rather just give Dak 100mill and let him rob us blind

I don't deny that, but nobody is claiming he is doing a great job. The point is, fans don't know if he is or isn't, so any claim that he is doing great or poorly really has no teeth to it.
Or, maybe it does.....

I've been saying for quite awhile that they should have made Sanchez the new QB Coach. He was the one in Dak's ear, during that rookie season, coaching him up and helping him out. He has plenty of real game experience and similar experience of the field. He had early success with big expectations and had to deal with a lot of scrutiny in a big media, high profile market. He would have been an excellent choice.

Of course Dak also said Moore helped him a lot in 2016. We also don't know if Sanchez even had an interest in the job. He was probably still planning to find a roster spot with a team when he got suspended for PEDs.

It may, or may not be accurate, but it still has no teeth because it's just a guess, and not an educated one. And it's based on the assumption the QB coach has to be responsible for the QB play (but only if it's bad QB play), and that the QB himself and the offensive game plan don't play a part.

At least make the offer, it's not like there was going to be any danger of another team snatching up Boy Genius.

If he was talking to teams about playing why would we offer him a job that he doesn't want? For that matter, how do we know they didn't talk to Sanchez about the job? And why would Sanchez necessarily be better than anyone else? Do we really think fans sitting at a computer know these things or are best qualified to decide who to hire as a QB coach without even so much as the benefit of interviewing the candidate?

How do you not know if Moore was the reason why Dak played better last week? What's moore not doing? What's moore suppose to be doing? LMAO. Why not get Roger to coach him? Danny White anyone? lmao..

Yes. Why?
He has more game experience

And Kellen Moore has more game experience that the majority of NFL QB coaches. That's clearly not the overriding qualification for an NFL QB coach.

heck get Jason Garrett to coach him up. Right now he's just a "walk around" head coach. I bet he could clap better for Dak than anybody else in the NFL, and he's actually held a clipboard in the NFL.

Exactly. Fans just don't know, but that's part of why the QB coach is an easy target - other fans don't know either so they are just as lacking in understanding as the fans making the accusations.

Here's an interesting question ... do you ever hear of fans talking about the QB coach when the QB is playing well? It seems fans don't really have any thought about the QB coach when that's the case, but they sure seem to have an opinion when the QB plays poorly. All blame and no credit, and the fan really doesn't know either way.

How many people did they interview before hiring Moore? How is Moore the most qualified guy out there? Unfortunately, the people making the decisions aren't necessarily the best qualified in how to hire, or else Garrett wouldn't still be here. Seeing as this a fan forum, pretty much every post is about some guy's opinion sitting at a computer.

He's not worth rostering, no. Bad completion percentage, low Yards Per Attempt, hilariously awful TD-to-INT ratios, bad passer rating. He's literally garbage.

If a repeat of 2016 happens, and we lose our top two QBs to season-ending injuries, he's qualified to be the warm body that backs up our 3rd stringer who has been thrust into the starting lineup. That's all he's qualified to do. He's basically just a body warm enough to keep us from having to pull a Weekend At Uncle Bernie's.

Also, I'm not sure if he's even eligible anyway. Isn't he suspended because it turned out his hilariously garbage play was aided by performance enhancing drugs?

No thanks.
