Is MLB rotation a good strategy?

So, I noticed Hitchens played early and Durant played late at MLB. Maybe this is the way to go going forward. Let Hitch play early in the game to keep Durant fresh. It seemed to work well this game because Durant looked spry on the last couple of possessions. Different from the NYG game. Thoughts?

I don't see a problem with Dallas rotating their linebackers. They are all "cross-trained" to play all three spots, so the Cowboys can mix and match however they see fit. Hitchens has some trouble in passing situations, though, so I think that's why Durant was out there for the last couple drives of the game.

No because it means you don't really have a MLB. Actually you do, Sean Lee, but you won't play him there.

This team has one LB on the active roster. I'd trade the rest for field paint.

Hopefully Durant is in shape and ready to play like he did in 2014

I don't like the idea of having to do this but you can't argue with the results today

I think they should mix Durant in and let him challenge for the most playing time. He has too much of an injury history to make him the full time starter IMO but I think both he and Hitchens will be better if they rotate.

I agree that the linebacking corps looks suspect outside of Lee. I am sure they don't want to play Lee at MLB to keep him on the field and from getting injured. But your post caused me to think about what might have been the result if we had played Lee at MLB on the last series against the Giants. Would they have gashed us with the run the same way? I don't know the answer, but my magic 8 ball tells me "probably not".

Think Durant will take over full time sooner than later, depending on Nzeocha's health.

Put Hitchens at SOLB, Wilber on the bench and Durant at MLB for now.

Last offseason, Jerry said that Jaylon Smith might get to play in the regular season and I believe him. There's our MLB! (cough)
