This just pisses me off.. wrong information handed out to the public..

Rich Eisan states that we have lost our last 4 MNF games 2 coming to the Eagles....

What was the Bills game last year if it wasn't MNF?
And the Roy Williams INT For a TD to end the game.. Wasn't that a MNF game?

We lost on xmas day in '06 to the Iggs, 26-7, and ended up blowing the division which was right in our laps.

It was on NBC, but b/c they decided not to broadcasted their Sun night telecast on xmas eve, they bumped it up a day.

It was stated on ESPN that the Cowboys have lost their last four home, Monday Night games, but if Rich said this, then he is definitely mistaken.

Here they are...

'06 - Lost to Eagles 26-7 on xmas day...was broadcasted on NBC, which decided to bump it up to Mon b/c they didn't want to telecast anything on xmas eve.

'06 - Lost to Giants 36-22

'05 - Miracle meltdown loss to Skins 14-13

'04 - Got annihilated by Eagles-this time, Owens did his "star dance" in the end zone.

I was at the Eagle game in '04, and remember his 1st touchdown, when he pretended to be a speed skater in the endzone.

I was at that game too. The Eagles fans completely took over TS, the only thing more embarrasing was the score.

The Eagles broke all kinds of records on us that day. Luckily the Owens/Sheridan Fiasco put the horrible performance on the back burner of the news.

But at the end of the day, McNabb and company have nothing to show for it.

The '06 xmas day massacre hurt worse to me. The NFCE crown was right in our LAPS. The Iggs were coming off 2 emotionally draining NFCE road games against the Skins and Giants. It was Christmas, which was kicked off by getting a ROMO JERSEY as one of my presents. But ultimately, the best we could show was nothing but a lethargic performance, our worst of the year(even more so than the Saints a couple of weeks back).

If this had been Indy, would have forgotten it by the next day. But it ended up ruining my entire holiday season, for some reason.

IDK man, that Saints game was horrible.

But I agree, the 2004 squad wasn't going anywhere, so it wasn't that big of a deal to see the Eagles run roughshot over us.

No he said, last four MNF home games. Which seems true, although I don't have records, but last MNF at home was I believe against Giants when Romo got in at half time?

Like I mentioned above-the '06 xmas day game against the Eagles on NBC was bumped to Mon night b/c SNF didn't want to telecast a game on xmas eve.

So the last 4 Mon night home games were NOT on ESPN/ABC, FWIW.

The same Rich Eisen who called our preseason game against Houston "a matchup of the Houston Texans vs. the old Dallas Texans?"

(The old Dallas Texans are actually the Chiefs, btw.)

Yeah! From the time we left BWI Airport in Md., until the tiem we got back that Tuesday, Eagles fans everywhere. Very obnoxious, and a lot of them very classless!!

wasnt this the game when McNabb took a couple of victory laps around TX Stadium before throwing a bomb to Todd Pinkston or Fred Ex?

Honestly, that is my second most hated play in the Cowboys/Eagles rivalry........with the Irvin injury being rated as my most hated play....also on that list is the 4th and 1 that Emmitt couldnt get....Andre Waters trying to take out our kicker (his former teammate in the Bounty Bowl)

Would you really consider the Christmas Day a Monday Night game? Wasn't kickoff at like 4 PM?

If you don't count that one the one prior to that was a win, all the way back in 2001 against Washington. We won 9-7. Both teams were 0-4 and it was being hyped as the "Worst Monday Night Game Ever"

I believe the game ended after 7pm, FWIW.

And, of course, it's Dec, in the winter, where it sunsets EARLY.

Fair enough.

Are 3 PM games played in the East counted as Sunday Night games then?
