No, he's not the #1, but he's playing very well and taking advantage of the opportunities he's been given. I think Brown and several players on this team like Steele, Maher, etc., are proof that as much as they've frustrated us, NFL coaches and personnel know significantly more about evaluating talent and NFL players than the armchair GM's all of us (myself included) on this board try to be.

I will eat my crow on Brown. I felt like he was just a wasted roster spot year after year.

He came to camp in shape, kicked a** and has made himself some money.

I feel like he is playing lights out by building the rapport with Rush for multiple seasons. They just know each other and trust each other. I feel like the trio of Lamb, Gallup and Brown are very good. It makes me feel a little better about losing Cooper.

Brown is what we wanted guys like Isaiah Stanback and Jesse Holley to grow into. Low investment, great return.

I will always have a soft spot for Buckeye players ;)

The head coach in his post game interview said that CeeDee is the #1 WR.

Brown has surprised me. He has turned into a legit NFL WR… and not just your garden variety WR either. The guy is one tough SOB. He has no fear, blocks like a TE, is scrappy as hell, and catches everything in his vicinity.

He has become a really good player. Kudos to him.

Ceedee makes the circus catch then drops an easy one.
Brown is more consistent.
Give me Brown.

Me too, loving the work he has done so far. Our best receiver so far.

On this team you gotta use him like one until circumstances prove otherwise.

He's a legit #2. Could be trade bait.
Why trade him? He is only 26 years old and has turned into a core player on this team. Get him resigned to a multi-year deal and roll with Lamb, Gallup and Brown. That trio is good enough to win in this league and if Lamb reaches his potential they can be dynamite.

I don't want him as a No.2. i'd still like to have a person who can present dangerous matchup problems, take the top off of a defense and threaten the entire field.
But if it's about a No. 3 and slot person, then maybe we can talk A Noah Brown then. .

Noah caught a short pass last night and immediately turned it upfield, bulled through the DB and picked up 11 yards, setting up 1st and goal (leading to Zeke’s game-tying TD).

Lamb and Brown look the same out there on TV, both with dreads and both with numbers in the 80s. As soon as Brown decisively turned it upfield, I knew it was him and not CeeDee. I’m pretty certain CeeDee would’ve danced too long and wouldn’t have picked up that 1st down.

That said, nah, Lamb’s still the #1.

CeeDee, Gallup, and Brown all feel like career #2s. But the bright side of this? You can win in this league without a legit #1 WR.

No hes Rushes blankie LOL there were at least 4 bombs, 1 missed in cinci game overthrew and 2 early on in the Gnats game where Lamb was wide open deep for big play and he dumps it down to Brown. thats the why it is sometimes like Dak looking for lamb over cooper etc Romo with Witten.

Lambs been open more than you think the last 2 games. rush isn't looking for him as much as brown, they have a rapport..
