Is our defense done?

They had been playing outstanding football for the past few games, and suddenly they just started playing pathetic. in the last few minutes of this game.

I just hope this is not a trend. I can't help but remember that game against the saints when our defense started sucking bad (back in the parcells era)... they never recovered from that.

If it had been one run, I could say it was a fluke, but two consecutive 75+ runs????

We still have a shot at getting in the playoffs... but it won't matter if they are playing like this.

They were gassed, you sell out on the run and miss a few tackles there you go.

I agree, they were gassed. They were on the field twice as long as the offense

Don't give me the gassed excuse. Those scoring drives Romo lead the Cowboys on towards the end of the game were not exactly 70 yard TD passes where the defense had no time to rest. They took some time to score.

I don't care how gassed you are, when your offense brings you within 2 points and a good chance to win the game, any real defense would not allow back to back 75+ yard TD runs. No excuse for that. As far as I am concerned, the Ravens owe the Cowboys 11 game game balls, and they go to our defense.

I'd imagine things like this assure that we don't resign Chris Canty and that we might look to upgrade over Spears and Thomas as well.

I'm not saying we will, or should, just saying I wouldn't be surprised if we do.
