Aside from place kicking?

I think it's been a week spot in the past. It seems coverage and returns have greatly improved.

Coverage looks good.

Their only job is to not screw up.

I think the STs unit has better players to play on teams than in the past because of the depth. Also, they can be really good if Bones stops trying to be a Star coach as a STs coach, and play this thing pretty vanilla and let the talent do the job.

Everything other than play calling and Zuerlein has been pretty good on special teams, Certainly much better than previous years.

Coverage looks to be flying around and the punter is good. The kicker is scaring me. Missed a few extra points and a long one and a chip shot. They have moved the EP back so it’s not a gimmie but still. A NFL kicker needs to be able make these kicks.

simple answer, yes

the coach is bit of a gambler and has an ego but ill take that OVER SOME video analyst dude ive never heard of and others who lacked any creativity at all..
we are better in all areas..

st units are always behind the first half of the season compared to the other units because they dont get assembled until the last minute once the actual team rosters are set then they get chosen, are pieced together and have to gel..they will get better..

Angling for a HC job he’s young enough .

-i haven' seen anything in the returns thus far that has been impressive this year, especially punt returns

- Pollard seemed to be breaking out with kick returns latter part of last year, i'm looking forward to this year, but if they decide to increase his role
on offense, could that take away some duties as a kick returner and they'd give that role to Cory Clements ? i would hope not.

-As far as Bones (Bonehead?) Fassel the special tams coach ..i think it's only gonna be a matter of time before management is ready to move on from him.
Now i can see why the Rams moved on from him. He's too exotic and high nature gambling.

His place and timing for that itchy big play sets to hurt the team more than it helps the team. And i tend to wonder if the team would rather settle for
sound discipline fundamental special teams than all of this bravado swashbuckling from Bones.

- The punter Anger has been sound, but i still got that vibe that the FG kicker (Greg Z) is gonna be so up and down this year, and that could be key to either advancing further in playoffs ..or going home .
